Die Atmosphäre des Hotels! Die Größe des Zimmers. Das Personal war bezaubernd
Breakfast was very good and good value
Nothing
Lovely building which is also used for wedding receptions. Table service included with breakfast. Five minute walk to the bus stop which will take you to Aberdeen in about 20 minutes.
Great country hotel, great staff. Nice and quiet to get a snooze. Freshly cooked breakfast not from a buffet!
Getting lost, its a maze! 😄 Bed headboard was very 'used' from the previous guests..., housekeeping cleaned up immediately, a shame because first impressions and all that.
Quality and quantity of food for breakfast and dinner were excellent. My only issue with the room was the mattress, of all the 9 bookings I made for this Scottish trip this mattress was too soft for my back.
I couldn't find anything to dislike.
Amazing hotel staff so nice and food was amazing
Afternoon tea was good value for money
Bit of a wait for breakfast on second day, 20 mins bit much and food cold
Lovely
Nothing
Stunning property.
Reception very slow on busy day.
The sight is nice great landscape
Rooms could do with updating and cleaning better
Magnifique emplacement
Décors intérieurs somptueux
Dîner de très bonne qualité
Firstly the building was incredible. High Victorian at its best and a real treat to stay in such opulent surroundings. Secondly, the food was very good and staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was a double and fine but would like to try a bigger room and wonder if they have decorated Victorian rooms at all. It was great reading about the history of what was once a Grand home.
Can’t think of anything
Location and the gardens are exceptional at this time of year. House is beautiful and hotel fits in it very well. Breakfast very good but poor choice for evening meal
Lovely peaceful hotel usually at a reasonable price and well worth it. Hope my review does not put the price up as I would love to stay again.
Poor evening meal choice. Please look at homemade dishes.
The old building of 1881 and how well it's been kept and loving all the old wood.
For us both we loved about everything but could have a few more disability spaces.
