Basic hotel but clean and in a good location.
Pros:

Centrally located so easy to get to places by walking or by bus.

Cons:

The room was very basic, only one hard back chair so as a couple one person had to sit on the bed. No kettle to make tea in the room and the communal kitchen did not have any cutlery or plates. Therefore unless you had brought them with you the kitchen was pointless.

Great staff make for a great stay!
Pros:

The staff are simply amazing. They all seem to love their jobs. They are smiling and always very welcoming and very helpful. In my opinion, it is the staff who "make the place." I don't know how these people were sourced, but they are all superstars in my book!

Cons:

I didn't have a toilet-shower. It worked out OK, but it made for a less than fully comfortable stay. And no safe in the room. I had to hide my passport and I was concerned that I might hide it so well that I would forget it!

Happy Wanderer
Pros:

Location and price for 6 nights was excellent. Close to a range of eatries, arena, library and 2 of the hop on hop off bus stops. Room needs a bit of attention as not as pretty as pictures on Booking.com. Needs a good paint and air-conditioning needs attention as really loud. House keeping friendly and professional, even though there was takeaway food from previous occupant left in fridge. Bed super comfortable and great pillows. Sharing the wash room was never an issue except broken latch on door so never knew if occupied or vacant before trying to get in. Kitchen handy for heating meals and kettle. Lovely area and safe to walk around as a solo traveller.

Cons:

Miscommunication with reception staff as first told they wouldn't store my luggage after checkout for an hour. When mentioned it was in their hotel policy the next day a lovely blond hair lady told me it was possible as well as a late checkout. Best to ask different staff to get correct response it seems. Besides the very noisy air conditioner this is a wonderful hotel in Vancouver.
