The rooms could have been a wee bit bigger. Some more options for dinner.
breakfast was a bit chaotic with many children there. Selection of food was fine, if a bit carb heavy.
We were charged a 35$ tourist fee on top of the fee booking quoted us, as well as a 50 dollar deposit refundable supposedly.
Centrally located, close enough to town and also far enough outside to enjoy some peace and quiet. We LOVED the access to the pool and all of the kid friendly offerings. Breakfast was very easy going and enjoyable, just what we needed to start our day off right.
The rooms are pretty bare bones, which is totally fine considering we didn't spend much time in there. The only thing I really didn't like was having the sink outside the bathroom. Just feel the bathrooms could use an upgrade overall.
Very close to everything
The breakfast was nonexistent on my first morning there. Had to even ask to get plates and tables cleaned. I chose to go off property to get breakfast.
Breakfast was the one thing that could use improvement in my opinion! Plates were out 2/3 days as were muffins and then brought out cold. Loved the location , flowers, service to the rooms daily!! Heated pool was great too!
Breakfast as mentioned above and a prettier shower wouldve been nice!
Quiet
Nothing
Super cute with great amenities like free bikes to use around town
Reception was hard to het ahold of on the phone
Nice place to stay
No bathroom privacy especially we 2 of us ladies are in a room.
All the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Nice and clean. Quaint location, wish the weather was nicer so we could have enjoyed the pool.
The beds were uncomfortable. Charger stations, bathtubs, rust on the floor, under the table, and the countertops could use a little updating, but definitely not a deal breaker.
The setting is beautiful, and the room was spacious and nicely decorated. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The lodge is conveniently located but still private.
Some of the window coverings were difficult to use. Parking could be an issue for the building I stayed in when they are at full capacity.
The location and relaxed setting
The coffee. Only a small point but better facilities in the room and a stronger cup of joe at breakfast.
Ran out of water and did not have any non sugar protein like hard boiled eggs, nut butters etc
The location was perfect, if you have a car it is about a minute drive from downtown Kennebunkport. They do offer free rental bikes, so it's a quick ride into town. I really liked all the free activities included in the stay, along with free breakfast. I really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge on the Cove!
The only thing I would improve, is our sink. The drain was very slow.
Cute property, nice location.
Room smelled like a pool. Entry door was cute but not practical because you can’t pull the curtain closed when you leave the property- and I don’t love having all my belongings on display. I didn’t care that all the empty rooms were lit and visible at night because it made it more obvious which ones were occupied.
Very scenic, cozy, etc. Super friendly staff . Close to town shops and restaurants. Clean, comfortable, nice breakfast options.
The location, away from main coastal road and town center yet close. The bikes lent by the hotel made it even closer and great to explore local beaches.
The room was spacious and pleasant.
Breakfast was that of a cheap highway-side motel : it is a motel, but not cheap and we expected better. There was no bread, only industrial cake in plastic wrapper, and only disposable paper plates and cups and plastic cutlery.
