Important information:

From 10th to 15th of July 2023, the Property will only be reachable on foot between 8:30 p.m and 6 a.m due to resurfacing works on the Peartree Roundabout. The nearest car park is located in a specially designated area at Pear Tree Park & Ride.

Please note that the swimming and spa facilities will be closed indefinitely from 20 December 2018. The fitness facility (mini gym) will be available from this date forward.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt, das Hotel hat die Erwartung erfüllt
Pros:

Ein typisches Standardhotel einer Kette mit angenehmer Atmosphäre und allem was man braucht. Frühstückbuffet, eher in die Richtung englisches Frühstück, aber alles hat gut geschmeckt und man verhungert nicht.
Zimmer in Ordnung und sauber (mir persönlich war das Bett etwas zu hart, aber das ist ja Geschmackssache).
Hervorheben muss man unbedingt die freundlichen Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption, das hat man im Laufe des Reiselebens oft schon anders erlebt. Egal was man gefragt hat, alles wurde freundlich beantwortet und man hat sich bemüht zu helfen.
Wir haben 2 x im Restaurant gegessen, das Essen war sehr gut und preislich im Normalbereich (Großbritannien ist ja generell kein günstiges Reiseland).
Ungefähr 5 - 10 Minuten zu gehen zum naheliegenden Shuttleparkplatz, der Bus bringt einen direkt ins Zentrum von Oxford (am ersten Tag haben wir aber gleich umgedreht weil bereits eine lange Schlange beim Bus angestellt war).
Die Rezeption bestellt einem aber gerne ein Taxi, das nicht zu teuer ist - zumal man für den Bus ja auch bezahlen muss.

Cons:

Das der Parkplatz kostenpflichtig ist und wenn man länger bleibt (wir waren 4 Tage dort) ergibt sich doch ein erheblicher Aufschlag auf den Reisepreis.
Die Sehenswürdigkeiten von Oxford sind von diesem Hotel aus nicht fußläufig zu erreichen (wussten wir aber schon vorher), daher muss man auch etwas Zeit für den Transfer in die Stadt für Unternehmungen mit einplanen - ist jetzt keine Beschwerde, nur eine Info!

Pleasant staff and excellent location.

Cons:

Breakfast was extremely poor. 'Artisan cheese and charcuterie was block cheddar slices and square sliced shoulder ham of poor quality. Cooked breakfast items were missing and those available were poorly cooked and very oily. Very disappointing 😞

Without a doubt one of the better hotel experiences I have ever had.
Pros:

Everything. We got upgraded by Georgi at book in. Georgi also explained that our parking was free, the World Cup special menu was available. Georgi booked a table in the restaurant for us on arrival and the food was very good. Every member of staff we came in to contact with were very friendly, efficient and more than helpful.

Cons:

Nothing. Everything was great.

Enjoyed all aspects of our stay. It's a really nice hotel.
