Loved - loved - loved our stay at the Mantra.
Pros:

The staff were so friendly and helped with any request we had. IE: Restaurants, tours, shopping etc. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

Ideal Central Location for Long Stays—Comfortable, Convenient, and Spacious
Pros:

For a week-plus trip to Cairns, we needed a fully equipped apartment with a kitchen, washer/dryer, bathtub, and parking. Mantra Esplanade was the perfect choice. Located right in the heart of central Cairns, it put us within easy reach of the Reef Terminal for tours and made heading out on day trips effortless. It was a short walk to Woolworths for groceries whenever we preferred to cook, as well as to countless local restaurants and cafes. The friendly staff went above and beyond, quickly providing extra laundry powder, dish detergent, towels, and amenities whenever requested. Highly recommended!

Cons:

On the downside, the Wi-Fi was quite weak, making it difficult to send photos and videos via our apps. Additionally, room servicing is minimal—per hotel policy, housekeeping was only provided once during our 8-night stay. This didn't bother us, but it's good to know in advance. Lastly, while the property and facilities are somewhat dated, everything was well-maintained and didn't impact our overall positive experience.

Location is great. Walking distance to many restaurants, supermarket, casino, pool on esplanade etc.

Cons:

Pool was cold - to be expected, but for this time of year we were hoping for a heated pool, especially considering the pool is in shade most of the day.

I would probably not recommend for anyone travelling for work, but good location for holiday stays.
Pros:

Staff were pleasant and helpful.
Location for meals was very good. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was large.

Cons:

Room did not have any easily accessible powerpoints especially at the desk or for an iron.
Needed to use the bathroom to plug in a kettle.
TV reception was very poor.
