Hotel Valle

This hotel was not as advertised. When reaching the reception, the breakfast/reception area was extremely run down and looked like it had dust sheets everywhere. The receptionist sent us to a different location, about a 5 minute walk, where we found the hotel room of another hotel rated 2 stars. This was in an alley that smelt of urine and contained rubbish. Upon opening the door, the carpets were stained, the bed was made but bathroom dirty (hairs on the floor, toilet roll on the side). The air conditioning did not work (and this was July!). When I tried to call to tell them about these issues, the phone was disconnected, and I could not get the apparent 'Whatsapp' number to work.

We spent 10 minutes in the room before deciding it was unbearable to stay and went to find a different hotel. We told this receptionist of our experience, and he humorously said we'd just had our first Rome experience. Beware of booking this place.

The hotel refused to give a refund. I felt like I would be protected by using Booking.com, but they have also done little to rectify this situation.

nelle descrizioni c'era scritto che nella stanza c'era il minifrigo, non era presente, la connessione ad internet era scadente, saltava la connessione ogni volta, sulla carta che si trova in stanza c'è scritto " il check out deve essere fatto entro le ore 11" la donna delle pulizie alle 09:30 ha staccato la corrente in modo che la gente uscisse fuori dalle stanze, doveva pulire e rifare i letti, l'ascensore è molto stretto, la colazione è da dimenticare : nella caraffa del caffè avevano messo l'orzo, i cornetti erano secchi, forse del giorno prima, il dolce sul vassoio sembrava o era quello dell'Eurospin, i tavolini erano attaccati alla reseption che odorava di muffa.

The breakfast was a big let down. Coffee sitting in a kettle, only choice of a couple different pastries and 1 choice of cereal. The room was a good size but AC didnt really work and the bathroom was pretty bad. The shower cubicle door was missing and in replace was a shower curtain that wasn't clean and didnt keep water in. The taps were cracked and the toilet seat was broken. There was no door to the 2nd bedroom either. We only used it as a bed for the night as was out all day otherwise we would have went elsewhere. It was clean and the beds were comfy enough but wouldn't recommend.

Breakfast was average staff made us an extra coffee ☕️ were very pleasant just not lots of choice

Da migliorare la colazione con davvero poca scelta.

Pequeno almoço horrível

El baño (la ducha incómoda demasiado pequeña, si se cae el jabón tengo que salir para recogerlo porque muy estrecho) las paredes de la habitación muy sucias no las pintan de años, el colchón no lo renuevan por años.

Habían zonas del hotel que se veían un poco “viejas” pero es por decir algo.

Los recepcionistas del hotel fueron muy amables, simpáticos y serviciales excepto el de la noche del sábado. Tuvimos una incidencia con la tarjeta y este chico nos atendió bastante mal, dándonos una solución pésima y dejándonos sin luz ni aire durante toda la noche. Sin embargo, por lo demás todo excelente y vuelvo a reiterar que los demás recepcionistas tanto el de la mañana como el de la tarde fueron muy simpáticos, amables y serviciales.
