Pros:

Clean, quiet room. Welcoming front desk personnel.
Nice having an extra blanket in the closet.

Cons:

Hot tube did not have jets
Coffee was weak and quality fair. After one cup choose not to drink it.
Tea water was luke warm, making it ineffective to brew tea.
Pillows were either too bulky for sleeping or flat and lumpy.

Würden wir wieder buchen
Pros:

Sehr freundliches Personal. Auf Nachfrage wo man Bärenspray kaufen kann , wurde uns von einer Mitarbeiterin aus dem Keller ein von anderen Gästen zurückgelassenes Spray kostenlos überlassen . Tolle Aktion, da dieses um die 40€ kostet und innerhalb Kanadas bei Flügen verboten ist( auch im aufgegebenen Gepäck). DANKE! Unterkunft groß und sauber. Ausreichen kostenlose Parkplätze am Hotel.

Cons:

Fenster nicht zu öffnen und zudem sehr dunkel durch die Einrichtung und die dunklen Wände. Heller würde alles noch viel freundlicher wirken. Lage etwas weit weg vom Zentrum ( zumindest fußläufig 30 Minuten ), mit dem Auto in 10 Minuten.

Solides Hotel für einen Besuch in Victoria
Pros:

Solides Hotel mit allem, was man für eine Nacht haben möchte. Das Zimmer ist in 3 Bereiche eingeteilt. Anfangs kommt ein Bereich mit (Schlaf-)Couch, dann kommt der Durchgang, wo es auch zum Bad abgeht, und dann der Bereich mit dem eigentlichen Bett. Alles ist sauber und ordentlich. Rund um das Hote gibt es genug Parkplätze und eine großzügige Tiefgarage, die aber nur wenige Gäste genutzt haben. Ins Stadtzentrum sind es mit dem Auto keine 10 Minuten. Frühstück ist nicht inkludiert, aber dafür gibt es im Haus direkt einen Denny’s. Leider mussten wir so früh zur Fähre, dass wir ihn nicht nutzen konnten.

Die „Suite“ verdient den Namen nicht: sehr kleines Zimmer, kleine Betten, Schlafcouch durchgelegen und dreckig, Zustell Bett bekommen, allerdings eigentlich kein Platz dafür. Kissen der Couch dreckig/fleckig. „Klimaanlage“ sehr laut, Fenster nicht zu öffnen. Lage des Hotels: Katastrophe, rund herum nur Junkies. Eine Zumutung dort

Will come back!
Pros:

Very comfortable, easy access to parking and secure parking. Front desk staff were helpful and polite. Pool space and whirlpool were attractive and clean.

Cons:

When I tried to check in early as per request, I was told to come back in an hour to check and when I did, I was told that "no, there isn't any early check-in available". I was frustrated that I was asked to come back to check when the second person told me as a fact. I wouldn't have wasted my time if there was no chance of an early check-in. The mini-fridge is very mini-sized, had hoped for a little larger. But sufficient. More seating around pool as per hotel pictures for friends who joined us at pool but didn't go into the water.

We had a great stay and certainly come back to the Sandman Inn on my next visit to Victoria
Pros:

Easy to find, easy to park, elevator to upper floors, big room with 2 queen size beds, walk in shower, shower had good water pressure

Great staff; helpful and patient. Ok for a one-night stay. Clean and basic.
Pros:

The staff were great and the Denny’s downstairs was handy.

Cons:

The pullout sofa was terribly uncomfortable; slanted towards the head so your feet are up in the air. The springs poked through the very thin mattress.

Excellent stay!
Pros:

Clean, nice facility, with comfortable beds. They were awesome and gave us a complimentary upgrade to a king suite which was nice. It had a nice little sitting area with a kitchenette.

Cons:

Only negative was that it wasn’t as close walking distance to downtown as I hoped. Although it’s still doable to walk if necessary. It’s still a pretty quick drive, and if you get the $15 public parking it isn’t too bad.
