We checked in well past midnight, and while we were asleep, jetlagged and tired, we were horrified and disgusted to find a large cockroach crawling over us in the bed!! The response of the guest helpline and housekeeping was disappointing, lacking in urgency or empathy. Joseph in the front office was much more helpful, but we were determined to escalate it to Intercontinental international management and complain to the Singapore Tourism Board when Front Office Manager Vin Raveendran stepped in and turned around our experience. He apologised profusely and personally, ensured an immediate cleanup, allotted us a bigger and better room overnight and arranged multiple daily health checks to ensure that the rest of our stay was superb. He represented the best of what we expect of the Intercontinental brand.

Swimming pool extremely narrow and not useful for swimming most times. Problems in room with water pressure from tap and shower, problem with temperature mixing. Lighting in the room seemed complex when trying to turn off all lights. The “two stage” lift process is also a minor irritation. Overall Not particularly good value for money.

Das Personal ist zwar aufmerksam und wirklich sehr freundlich, aber bei der Vielzahl der Fehler kann man bei einem 5-Sterne Hotel auch bei gutem Willen nicht mehr darüber hinwegsehen. Wir haben mit Unterbrechung 2x dort übernachtet ( 4 Personen, zwei Doppelzimmer), hatten aber für den zweiten Aufenthalt erst vor Ort an der Rezeption gebucht. Das hat leider überhaupt nicht funktioniert, da man uns nur ein Doppelzimmer gebucht hat. Wenn uns das nicht selbst umgehend aufgefallen wäre, hätte es am Ankunftstag eine böse Überraschung gegeben, da das Hotel vollständig ausgebucht war. Es gab nicht einmal ein Wort der Entschuldigung.
The staff is friendly and welcoming
As a business traveller, there is no facilities to have a one on one business meeting. The staff wanted to charge me for use of their lounge then came back and said it was fully booked. For a luxury hotel catering to business users, it's not very useful

Breakfast selection was poor for a SGD 500 price tag.
Bakery and nuts and Cheese not fresh. Disappointing.
We had 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. A beautiful hotel with spacious and well appointed rooms. Not as centrally located as some but we still found it easy to get around. Staff were particularly impressive. Everyone was so friendly, attentive and helpful. Particular shout out to Eswaren in the club lounge who was super efficient and friendly. Definitely worth having the club lounge access. A really nice afternoon tea and yummy bites in the evening. We would definitely go back. Thanks for our anniversary gifts to. Made our stay very special.

Had a wonderful return stay for early celebration for me and my wife’s wedding anniversary.
Front desk team did an exceptional job making sure all logistics was well taken care of. kudos to Vin, Catherine for the pre stay arrangements such that everything went flawlessly.
My thanks to Zoe, Emily, Cindy, Jayz for the nice note they wrote for us. It was a pleasure speaking to Farid who made arrangements for a round of drinks at Publico it was a lovely gesture.
The team at Publico were also exceptional. We enjoyed ourselves for the evening drinks and pizza the ambience was fantastic.
I have nothing but praise for the staff. Nothing was a bother, always smiling and willing to assist. The location is perfect, close to restaurants. I found the team at the arrival area to be first class, especially Gana. You truly think you are meeting with a friend. Gana, I will be traveling to Singapore again and I will be seeing a friend. You went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable.

Especially the Joey @ the concierge - because we caught a lot off Grab Taxis for the Wedding and grabbing groceries 🛍️
Also the Front Office helped me find the particular Grocery Store I was looking for .
Just the few days with the lounge staff in the morning was not attentive to our orders accept the last day off our stay

We had a wonderful dining experience in their restaurant PUBLICO. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and every dish was full of flavor. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with family.
A special thank you to Ravi, who made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely made sure we had everything we needed. His excellent service made our visit even more enjoyable.
We truly appreciated the hospitality and would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and exceptional service. We can't wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had a lovely stay at the intercontinental, all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful particularly Yudy who gave us lots of information on our first day and then greeted us each morning by name and always with a friendly smile 😊
The hotel is very clean, the food at Club is very nice. All staffs are very friendly. Thank you Eswaran, Pauline Cluwie for the special cake. Thank you Fathin, Dvin for checking in/out. Thanks to Joseph, Mai and Emily, Lorraine for taking care of us.
