The hotel is extremely dated and not well kept. The elevators were not working. It is not very clean. Rooms are not very comfortable.
Jaron with valet deserves a 5/5. Other than that definitely wouldn’t stay here again. While it wasn’t the worse I’ve ever stayed it wasn’t worth the amount we paid. Bathroom floor and shower need remodeling OR deep cleaning. Elevators need to be fixed. Housekeeping need to be paid more to do a better job or trained because I had to request room be vacuumed. There was a yellow spot on comforter. Front desk in the evening were nice but forgot to send up needed sheets since we couldn’t be switched to a double room from a king (had to buy an air mattress). I highly suggest renovating especially with pulling up the carpet. In 2026 no hotel should have carpet. This place has potential but renovation and training is needed. Once again, shout out to Jaron for making the stay pleasant regardless of the other issues.
The Redmont Hotel is fantastic. Even though the elevators were down, we loved this hotel. The reason being was the staff. Sam, the doorman, and his staff will greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome every single time they open the door for you. They are awesome. The rooftop bar is great, but the lobby bar is even better.
My room was not ready at 6pm. The next room was dirty. None of the elevators work. Whoever gave this hotel a high rating has obviously never stayed here. And it was $350 per night.
I’ll start with the gold. The guys running valet are awesome. That’s literally where the good ends. The hotel is very busy and the elevator has been broken for a week. All foot traffic to rooms, the roof top bar and staff goes through the service elevator. That was annoying but just the beginning. The bed is an old spring bed that’s seen its last good day and the pillows are like sleeping on crumpled tissue paper. We noticed our body wash was empty so I mentioned it to the front desk on our way out, when we returned, our bed was made but literally nothing else was done to the room. No new coffee pods, no new water bottles and no body wash. The hotel doesn’t come with a hair dryer (which is bizarre). I went to the lobby at 5 am for a fresh coffee pod, the guy working the front desk was scrolling his phone. The lobby was full of trash. Taco Bell bags, beer cans etc.
We used to love the redmont. Not only do the rooms need some major TLC, but most concerning is the elevators. One of the elevators has been broken since we visited this time last year. And the other one sounds like it’s about to break. None of them have been inspected since 2024. Almost a full year after the expiration date on the certificate. We will not be back.
Close to everything
Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Terrible, disgusting hotel and even worse management. The local manager, Tonya Williams, is an outright liar. Do not stay here at all!! I would rate this Hilton property 0 stars if we could.
We are loyal Hilton Diamond members and have stayed at multiple Hilton properties around the world. This was one of the worst properties we have ever stayed at. We stayed here in February and from the time we attempted to check in, it was disappointing. We were upgraded due to our Diamond status and upon checking into our room it was absolutely disgusting. The bedsheets appeared dingy and the bathroom was gross.
There was hair on the ground and a vomit stain on the tile. So vile! We calledcalled downstairs right away and were moved to another room that was not much better. However, we were there for a family function and has other guests arriving that we has suggested the hotel to.
We did notify the manager on duty and he told us he would escalate our concerns. The next day, the hotel manager, Tonya was on sight and sat down and spoke to us regarding the issues. She agreed that our experience was 100% unacceptable and promised to compensate our Hilton Honors points for our entire stay. She assured us that she would make this happen. Also, despite our complaints and meeting with her, our room was never even serviced by house keeping our entire stay.
Now over 1 month later after no follow-up call or email, we contacted her and at first she acted as if she has no idea what we were talking about. Then she stated she escalated the issue to corporate but was unauthorized to issue more than 20,000 points, which covers absolutely nothing! She totally and outright lied to us, after she had assured us in person and in an email that our entire points would be compensated.
She even had the audacity to even yell at us on the phone. This is not the type of experience I expect as a loyal Hilton Diamond Member.
In conclusion avoid this disgusting and poor quality Hilton property at all costs.
No hot water in the shower.
The location is great for downtown
The room was cozy, I hated that the roof top is closed on Sunday
Roof top being closed
Well cleaned, equipes and Ready when arrived. Would suggest a safety box and a small refrigerador. Besides that’s everything was fantásticas.
Only one elevator was working.
The Hilton has completely forgotten about this hotel. It's a beautiful, historic hotel that Hilton has let fall into disrepair.
We booked a room with "2 queen beds". The beds were doubles. The rooms do not match the obline photos. No desk, chairs, lamps, etc. The furniture that was in the room, was falling apart/ broken. Toilet accessories were falling out of the wall.
The restaurant was completely understaffed - 1 person was the host and waitress for the entire restaurant. The food was horrible.
This hotel was AWFUL!!
The staff was courteous and responsive. They were the only redeeming quality. Shame on Hilton for ruining an historic building!
