Nice place, good stay.
Pros:

Beautiful pool, nice location.

Cons:

The landscape people were making so much noise with their power tools for two days. Places like hotels they should use electric tools.

Overpriced and Overrated
Pros:

Breakfast, breakfast staff, and kitchenette area was clean and polite!

Cons:

Check-in experience, unsanitary bathroom, shower, dated room, and antiquated exterior wall air conditioner that cut on and off during the nights without regulation! It is definitely overpriced for the conditions and experience!

Good enough for the short stay, but would not stay here again.
Pros:

The room was nice and spacious, but we did find a couple of dead roaches. The pool was nice. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

Didn't like the constant smell of smoke from cigars, weed, cigarettes all around the property. There was a couple of families that were very loud and would yell across the property at each other.

We enjoyed our stay and they were very accommodating for early check in and late check out.
Pros:

We like the location of this hotel and that they offer breakfast. Our room was a king suite and a great size.

Cons:

There were no pool towels and the mini fridge in our room hardly worked. We had the temp set to the coldest but it barely kept our drinks cooler than room temp. The TV's look like smart tvs but will not allow you to connect to cast or allow netflix to work, so you are left with local cable channels only.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. My recent stay was highly frustrating due to a severe lack of basic room service and poor maintenance oversight.Housekeeping and Room Service BreakdownNo room servicing: Room service never came to service my room or pick up the trash during my entire stay.Front desk runs: I was forced to walk down to the front desk every single day just to request basic amenities like fresh towels, toilet paper, and shampoo.Room Damage and Safety ConcernsBroken furniture: When I opened the door to access the small refrigerator, the entire television stand panel and structure came completely off.Safety hazard: While maintenance did come to fix the stand, they left behind a sharp, old nail on the floor. Leaving hazardous debris behind is completely unacceptable and a major safety risk.For the price paid, you expect basic cleanliness, functioning furniture, and a safe environment. This hotel failed on all three fronts. I will not be returning

St. Simon Gem!
Pros:

We stay with Best Western Plus when we visit St Simons Island. It is quiet and secluded.

The Front Desk staff were very kind and accommodating. I was impressed with how clean and comforting the lobby area was. The hotel is being managed and maintained very well. That is why I do not need to choose another place to stay when I am on St. Simons Island!
