Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City

This experience had the potential to be excellent but they fell short on a few things. First impression of the hotel is luxurious. The foyer is grand and the reception staff look amazing in what looked like traditional outfits and they were super lovely.
The breakfast each day was repetitive and not a big selection. We also ate from the menu a few times and there was plenty of choices. The pumpkin soup was incredible as was their deserts.
We had a voucher for a set menu dinner but we were given the buffet option so that was good. Dinner buffet was really good.
The beds were super comfy and the shower pressure was excellent. Plenty of amenities in the room.
The pool was absolutely incredible and I could have stayed there all day. There is a pool bar but I didn’t use it.
I booked in for a massage and was really looking forward to it. I don’t have a massage in a hotel very often so it was a bit of a treat. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to my hope.
Firstly let me say that my massage lady Lyly was absolutely amazing and she did an incredible massage. The let down was that they were doing repair work at the gym/spa so they moved it down to one of the rooms on the 4th floor. The same level as the pool so people could walk past and see in the room. Also there was constant hammering and banging and drilling - not relaxing at all. And also someone knocked on the door 3 different times so she had to stop the massage.
If there was any notification that there was work being done I wouldn’t have had a massage.
They also have a free shuttle bus into the city which was really comfy. Thankyou for the beautiful gift on departure.
Overall a lovely hotel with beautiful staff.

Quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Big room, comfortable bed, great shower, good cleaning. We got a very good massage from May and Dung. Kevin who works both in the reception and in the spa department was very helpful and nice.e

Had a great relaxing experience, with just the right combination of roughness and gentleness. Highly recommend the masseuse Mery, she did an excellent job.

I requested cheese pizza and magically about 15 min there it was. This hotel is beautifully run and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for top tier personal service and attention. Shoutout to Jessica the Hostess at res. Wonderful experiences

Everything, the rooms were beautiful and clean, roomy to move around, modern and neutral.

We loved this place.

We had issues with our original accomodation and had to find somewhere else to stay last minute.

The Equatorial was so accommodating to our family of 6, in our mad rush to find somewhere to stay.
They managed to find rooms that would fit all of us, and they even upgraded us.

The staff were all so nice and helpful.

The rooms were clean, and spacious, with lots of storage.

The food was really good.

And the swim up bar was a bonus!

Would definitely stay here again, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Ho Chi Minh City.

Large city centre hotel and though the rooms felt a little dark and dated they were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection and also had a lovely dinner one night. The pool area was wonderful with a swim up bar. Though the location was a little bit outside the city centre there was a free courtesy bus you could get to and from the hotel. The staff were all attentive and friendly and the Concierge was really helpful.

It was a great experience staying here at equatorial. The service was quite good. Food was satisfactory. Rooms were maintained properly with all necessary items working properly. Overall a good experience

This is a hotel that is slightly off the busiest area of the city and its much better. Closeby, yet nice and bigger than the cramped rooms of the market area. The breakfast is good, the staff is pleasant, the room are nice, clean and simple. They offer a shuttle to the market, though it could be a bit more frequent. But it's a better choice

Our vacation at Hotel Equatorial was wonderful, especially thanks to Jessica. Her service was outstanding throughout our stay. She was incredibly attentive, professional, and always went above and beyond with a warm smile to ensure we had a great time! We will choose this hotel again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was a quiet place to rest and relax away from the business of the city traffic. The bed was comfortable and the staff were attentive and helpful. The breakfast had multiple choices, but some of the hot food choices at breakfast were barely warm when I arrived for breakfast at 7:30am. The dining menu that a wide variety of Vietnamese and Western food options and we enjoyed tasting the lovely cakes at the cafe.

Sandy is the best attendant at the Chit Chat Cafe/ Restaurant, her service is first class. We love this country and its wonderful people. We will be back soon.
