Did a review via their email but completely messed up and want to set the record straight.
Our stay was lovely. Been twice now and all members of staff are friendly and helpful. Every aspect was brilliant. I noticed a few complaints on here about flies. Yeah, we experienced that too, but its UK summer, flies are a given. They weren't that bad. Some complaints about no air con, there are fans in the rooms. The hotel is lovely and comfortable and the food is always tasty. Would 100% recommend.
Location
Carpets in chrysanthemum were dirty. No fridge. No charging points for mobile usb c.
Spa floor dirty .. put robe on lounger and as it touched floor lightly it left a lot of dirt marks on robe.
No info on how to use lockers beside lockers
The bed, we were upgraded to a king size room, which was the only good thing
No air con in rooms , not enough beverages in room.
Tv kept cutting out
The grounds are absolutely gorgeous! The interior and exterior were gorgeous. It was £20PP per night to use the spa which wasn’t unreasonable.
It could sometimes take a little while to get a drink however it wasn’t an issue and if I had to complain about anything, it would be this …
Everything
Nothing
Very cool and quite place to relax
We will be booking again, All the staff was so welcoming friend and helpful.
The room was amazing.
It was nice and peaceful and lovely and relaxing.
Amazing 3 night stay with my sister.
Beautiful room, delicious food and excellent staff who went over and above to make our stay feel special. We had several treatments and made use of all the spa facilities.
RG is in a lovely setting, we went for a walk every evening.
The rooms were a nice size and shower was perfect, spa was amazing
There is nothing I didn’t like
I chose Rowhill Grange to celebrate my Husbands surprise 80th Birthday, with 18 of our friends.
The events team and specifically Grace, we’re brilliant from the start. All my requirements were noted and carried out to perfection. I had 20 guests staying overnight at the hotel with a diner on the first evening.
Every member of staff on duty were wonderful, they kept the secret and looked after us extremely well. My husband was truly shocked when he walked into the sitting room and saw all his friends there.
It is an event none of us will forget and which was made possible by the fantastic team at Rowhill Grange.

Unfortunately we didn't enjoy our stay.
The hotel seems rather dated. We were surprised there was no aircon in the rooms and it was too hot.
Only 1 key avaliable but 2 adults. Junior suite yet the bed was tiny. No offer of help with all our luggage.
No room fridge for cold water. Mouldy uht milk and so couldn't even have a coffee in the morning.
Poor access to the hotel for pram as so many steps. There is a side entrance which is up the steep hill and through the spa so not ideal. Lift inside is fine but small.
Nice size bathroom.
Food was ok, but too much dressing on the salad and a flat soda water. Wouldn't go back.
Following my previous review, I wanted to update it after Tim, the manager, kindly invited us back for another stay.
I have to say, the difference was night and day. Tim took the time to listen to our concerns, acknowledged where things had gone wrong during our previous visit, and clearly made every effort to ensure we had the experience we had originally hoped for.
From the moment we arrived, the service was attentive, friendly and professional. The room was spotless, the food was excellent, and the overall atmosphere reminded us why we had enjoyed staying at Rowhill Grange so many times in the past.
It’s easy to write a negative review when things go wrong, but I think it’s equally important to recognise when a business genuinely takes feedback on board and puts things right. Tim deserves a lot of credit for how he handled the situation. Rather than making excuses, he took ownership, restored our confidence in the hotel and showed exactly what good customer service should look like.
Thank you to Tim and the team for giving us a much more enjoyable experience. We really appreciated the effort that went into making our return visit such a positive one, and we’re pleased to say we’ll be happy to return again in the future.
We had a really lovely spa day here last Friday.
All the staff we encountered were really lovely and friendly. Our waitress Keren (I think that how you spell it) was so lovely and good fun. Lunch was really good! We all agreed our treatment was so nice, so thank you to Bronte (who looked after me). The relaxation room was such a treat! For the money we paid we all agreed it was money well spent. Thank you so all the lovely staff.
We had our wedding last Friday at Rowhill Grange. Just wow! Emilia was absolutely brilliant at organising our day for us and it was completely stress free. We had a twilight package which was tweaked for our particular requirements and was exactly how we wanted it.
All of the staff were just amazing we couldn't have asked for more. All our guests said what a wonderful wedding it was. From the waiting and bar staff, to Steve who was perfect at ensuring everything ran smoothly for us. Jonno played fantastic music in the evening, to the point people were saying they were aching the next day from so much dancing!. The food was delicious, for both the wedding breakfast and evening buffet.
Highly recommended the day was beyond how we had dreamed it would be. Just perfect.
