Nice place to stay in Edinburgh!
Pros:

This was a great place to stay! Great location, comfortable room with plenty of space for 2, it was totally quiet at night, all the staff were lovely and Amber went above and beyond to help us out. I definitely would come back!

Cons:

It was clean enough but could be even better – stains on the bed linens that need to be bleached, some mold/dirt near the shower, etc. Housekeeping takes out trash & changes towels daily but only changed bed linens once and never did any actual cleaning – maybe they do if it's a longer stay (we stayed 5 nights). For me that wasn't a big deal but YMMV.

Great staff and location, extremely loud
Pros:

The staff were all very nice and helpful! The location was excellent, very walkable to all sights.

Cons:

This place has a "party hostel" vibe. The bar on the corner is LOUD until after 3 am. Then the staff cleans up... so it's loud thumping music and sports til 3, then bottles / glass / what have you being tossed into dumpsters til after dawn. Also we heard what sounded like cleaning carts in the hallways late at night.....odd time to clean if that's what that was. We did not get one good night's sleep our whole trip. If you are a party person, this place is perfect. If you want to rest AT ALL, do not stay here.

Pros:

Friendly casual hotel, had relaxed mixted guests (young, old, family), great location for accessing the castle. Breakfast was good (not included by default, but can be added).

Cons:

No parking, but I expect most guests wouldn't choose to arrive by car, we only did because of disability. (We used pre-bookabke ParkBee Radisson Blue parking 5min walk away which is a decent solution).

It was fabulous for me and my teens. Definitely recommend and we will definitely stay next visit too.
Pros:

Central. Fun, staff were cool.

Cons:

It’s right next to a lively pub but they provide earplugs and the music is good so it’s not really an issue.

Great Central location, book in advance.
Pros:

Location is great all major attractions are at walkable distance about 10 minutes. Thats why price is little higher. Also have privet pub great experience in weekend.

Cons:

Bathroom have glass door and have visible gap, in the 6 bed family room , which feel awkward if you are with family.
