They put us in a room with all the air conditioning units on the roof. The noise was deafening. They didn’t have any other rooms. We left snd went to another hotel.

But I disliked the fact that you have to pay for parking aside from the hotel cost. Also the price is a little high but since its in a good location its worth it I suppose. Just the parking price is wild to me.

I did not get what I reserved. They only had king beds and I had reserved 2 queen beds. I would like to complain to the booking .com. room was far from front desk and had to open blocked doors in the hallways to get to room

The only place I would stay if I’ve had to have surgery again at UC Davis

The stay was very pleasant, but lack of answering my question after we left soured the experience.
Pros:

Our son lives 6 minutes away, so the location was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and competent.

Cons:

I must have left my phone charger in the room as we left because I didn't have it when I returned home. I spoke with a nice staff person that evening and she said she'd notify Housekeeping and that I'd get a call back the next morning. I had told her that my son could come a pick up the charger. No one called the next day. I called the day after and left a message with Housekeeping. Again, no call back. I was very surprised about that lack of service. Even if the charger was not found, I should have had a call back. We will NOT go back to this Marriot.

Upon returning late after an event with our son, there was no hotel parking available. The back lot is shared with the Medical Center and signs indicated No Hotel Parking. We took our chances and didn't have a ticket the next morning.
