The building’s donut shape gives the rooms a unique pie‑slice layout, which ends up being more charming than odd — spacious, modern, and noticeably well‑kept.

There’s also a touch of history here: the hotel sits on what used to be Bergstrom Air Force Base, and you can feel a bit of that past in the footprint and the way the property is laid out. It adds character without trying too hard.

Poor Front Desk Service, Gnats, and Fleas!
Pros:

Check-in was a horrible experience. It’s time for HR to retrain the clerks to be kind. The room has gnats and fleas!!

A port in a storm
Pros:

Staff was helpful. Liked the bar staff especially.

Cons:

The bar food was awful. Just processed junk. (But Staff was very nice.) The free morning coffee was just awful! Shuttle was on time and pretty fast which was good. The hotel room had a horrible photo of a cow. Terrible. Just take that down.
