We were extremely satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The service was outstanding, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. You can truly feel that they put their heart into this place, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious, and the location was excellent—everything was nearby and very convenient. We would be delighted to come back and stay here again.

Excelente elección
Pros:

La habitación es muy amplia y eso que teníamos dos camas supletorias para niños. El buffet bastante bueno aunque no con demasiadas opciones. Localización muy tranquila y de fácil accesibilidad. El restaurante de la playa excelente en relación calidad/precio.

La zona de las piscinas estaba bastante sucia. No limpiaban durante el dia asi que si ibas por la tarde te encontrabas los suelos y las mesas llenas de vasos, restos de comida...

Dogodna lokalizacja tuż przy przeprawie promowej na GOZO i na Blue Lagoon. Mimo to nie czuć spali i nie jest głośno - jedynie słychać szybko przemieszczające sie pojazdy, tuż obok hotelu jest plaża kamienista z darmowymi leżakami i parasolami dla klientów hotelu, plaża w czasie naszego pobytu praktycznie dogodziny 11 była pusta, nie było problemów ze znalezieniem wolnego lezaka, to samo dotyczy basenów. Sporym plusem są napoje wliczone w cenę, nawet jak ma się inną opcję niż All inclusive. Obsluga szybko sprząta stoliki, w weekendy jest w restautacji na obiedzie tłum. Pokój z widokiem na zatokę był spory, łożko wygodne.

Dość monotonne śniadania typowo angielskie, za to obiady i kolacje urozmaicone, spory wybór sałatek, różne rodzaje mies i ciast,

excellent choice
Pros:

An excellent hotel complex with spacious rooms and a beautiful view of the bay; it features several outdoor saltwater pools as well as an indoor pool. Daily housekeeping and beach towels are provided, and the hotel has its own small beach while being close to Malta's most beautiful beaches. Excellent breakfast and fantastic dinner.

A high end 3* not 4 and don’t expect a warm welcome in the restaurant.
Pros:

Fabulous location which is quiet & great for families- very close to all the boat rides, Gozo etc & the bus stop reaching everywhere in Malta, is directly opposite the hotel, so extremely accessible!
A few swimming areas to choose from (indoor was so quiet as everyone wanted to be outside, so had the pool to ourselves!!!) Two big TV screens in the lobby/lounge/bar area, which we watched the World Cup & Wimbledon games on - just ask at reception to turn the programme over or volume up, as often on mute.
The buffet was very plentiful & varied! We were half board so had breakfast & dinner - Wine (white, rosè, and red, as well as lager etc was on tap in the restaurant, the same as soft drinks & included in
half board options.

Cons:

Cleaning is a bit hit & miss - on one day we were napping in the afternoon & awoke to not only a knock on the door but two male room attendants opening our door to check if the cleaning was ok… not great, as I’m a lone mother on holiday with my teenage son whom has autism.
Another day, we were out all day returning late afternoon & our room had not been serviced - so asked for clean towels & toilet roll at reception but still had to commandeer a member of housekeeping over an hour later.
Secondly - the majority of the staff in the restaurant, including the chef out front doing the breakfasts, never smiled & were so unfriendly & quite rude at times. We had our plates snatched away before we were finished eating, twice.. our full cups of coffee taken and table cleared and wiped down whilst we were up getting more breakfast items, and my toast had an attempted abduction mid bite! I almost considered putting a lanyard on our plates!
We had a twin room & the beds were uncomfortable & even with the air conditioning, the room was quite hot at night particularly.
On the upside - some staff at the Cockerel bar were very friendly and helpful & it was a pleasure to meet them.. Hang on to those two smiley, happy, helpful people!!

The service was not upto standard. I booked a room for 4 people was given room for 2 then had to wait to get everything to be sorted. No one came to explain what happened the service was not what I was expecting. I also messaged earlier to see if I can check in early as my flight landed early, it would have been nice for them to acknowledge or try and accommodate something

Cons:

Only 1 EU outlet, which was maxed at 1A, so charging your phone, even with fast charging will take a long time! Be prepared. All other outlets were island native, so you should be an extra block in the hotel shop.

2. The pools are very, and I mean very salty! There are no pools that have shadow, even the indoor pool roof is open to sun. Sun + salt water is a deadly combo.

3. The food was mediocre at best. The English breakfast has no taste, the potatoes are rock hard, does the staff even taste this abomination of supposedly food? Best time to eat is during lunch.

4. Full pension means drinks are only free during meals.

Cons:

Den Aufenthalt insgesamt würden wir als passabel bis enttäuschend bewerten. Der größte Minuspunkt in unseren Augen ist das Essen, Buffetauswahl ist (v.a. für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel) ziemlich klein und die Qualität der angebotenen Speisen nicht sehr gut.
Nur am Sonntag war das Mittagsbuffet größer, es war aber auch entsprechend viel los.

Das Hotel hätte viel Potential, es besteht aber auch ein ebenso großer Renovierungs- bzw. Sanierungsbedarf. Möbel und Ausstattung sind veraltet, Boden im Zimmer wurde in 5 Tagen nicht wirklich anständig geputzt. Zur Verfügung gestellte Handtücher waren zT dreckig und eine Badewanne als Dusche ist in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel auch nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
Der Gang zu den Zimmern riecht muffig, wahrscheinlich bedingt durch den alten Teppichboden.
Leider im gesamten Zimmer nur 2 benutzbare Euro-Steckdosen, der Rest ist ohne Adapter nicht benutzbar.

Das Personal jedoch ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Das Service am Buffet läuft flott und auch im Restaurant Porto wurden wir sehr nett bedient.
Die Poolanlage ist sauber und groß genug, die Liegen und Sonnenschirme hingegen könnten ausgetauscht werden.
Schade ist auch, dass es so viele Tagesgäste gibt, die nur zum Baden kommen & sich am Pool aufhalten, teilweise waren die Liegen am großen Pool schon morgens besetzt.

Alles in allem passabel, aber 4 Sterne hat dieses Hotel (vor allem im Vergleich zu anderen mit derselben Bewertung) nicht verdient.
