Walls are slightly thin but that’s likely the norm in old Charleston.

This is the 2nd, almost third, stay at The Lindy. Came in August 2025 and absolutely fell in love. Thought the property could not be better. Tried coming again later last year and was walked from the property due to our room “having a flood” before we even checked in. Were transferred to the Marriott, but we booked The Lindy, and almost didn’t want to come back. BUT chose to come back and BOOM!!!!! Can’t tell you, from delightful Tiffany and David at the front desk, to amazing Brent, as porter and delightful greeter, we were in love, again. Tiffany made my day, stay, and re-love. I plan many, many events each year and became worried after this last visit to The Lindy……but you three made us visitors for life

Throughout our week-long stay, he provided exceptional assistance and kindness. He was attentive to our young children and compassionate while assisting with our luggage. Additionally, he was very generous in rating my pound cake, which I shared with him.

Brent went above and beyond and made our stay at The Lindy exceptional. All the employees at Handy and Hot were very helpful and kind, making our stay for a Charleston wedding memorable and fun.

We loved our stay at the Lindy! Such an awesome location-walkable to King Street shopping, the French Quarter & more! Brent, Tiffany & Mark took the best care of us while there. They were friendly, kind & so helpful! Can’t wait til our next visit!

Brent greeted us as soon as we pulled up and was very friendly. He waited for us to check in and brought our bags up to our room. We saw him on our way out to lunch and he continued to be personable.

From our arrival at The Lindy until our check out five days later, our experience was exceptional. Brent was the first to greet us, helped us with bags and was amazing. Checking in was a piece of cake, everyone was friendly, professional and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, clean and daily housekeeping was a plus as so many hotels no longer provide that. The “little details” made a big difference…cold towels awaited us in the lobby daily, free bottled water at valet and at the check- in counter and a hydration station on our floor with ice machines as well as hot and cold water dispensers. The location of the hotel was excellent, we felt central to everything and the shops within walking distance were great! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

We stayed at the Lindy a few weeks ago and had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful with great rooms. The cafe and restaurant were also wonderful especially for breakfast. The hotel is located exactly in the middle of everything and steps away from King Street. Everyone was helpful and friendly and welcoming. My family and I especially enjoyed meeting Mr. John. We saw him a few times during our stay and he was just so kind and friendly. My girls still talk about Mr. John and how much they enjoyed meeting him. We loved the hotel and we loved Charleston but Mr. John really was the perfect example of southern hospitality.

Had a great time in Charleston! The Lindy is in the best location. It is a beautiful hotel with an amazing vibe. Rooms were good size, clean and very comfortable. They have bikes available to explore the city. Brent was very helpful, provided suggestions on where to go and what to see. He was also very nice and professional. Overall we had a great stay - I would highly recommend.
