Very nice room for 2 adults and a teenager. The pull out couch in a room separate from the bedroom gave everyone the privacy they wanted. Beautiful hotel with large atrium eating area, nice food and drink selections on site, and a perfect location near the heart of Chicago. The city views from the 13th floor were amazing. We will definitely return.
They have 4 elevators to get to rooms and two were out of order, which created an almost 10 minute wait to go downstairs during peak morning/breakfast hours. I'm sure it was temporary, so it was fine.
My room was clean, great view, and fantastic location!
Check-in. They kept calling gold and platinum members while the rest of us waited 25-30 minutes to be checked in. Someone came to bring us bottles of water while we were waiting.
Overall, we had a good stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton. The room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast options were excellent, with a great variety of hot and cold items that everyone in our family enjoyed.
The hotel was undergoing interior construction during our visit. While it didn't impact our stay too much beyond having to navigate around one set of elevators, it would have been nice to know more about it in advance. My biggest disappointment was the additional add-on fees, which made the final cost higher than expected. Greater transparency about those charges would have been appreciated.
Very helpful and friendly staff
Nothing
The breakfast and chefs were great! House keeping kept our room clean.
Expensive parking for guest, elevator down and front desk person was rude (male).
Location was great, great views of the city. Attractions were walkable.

The location & breakfast.
Upon arriving at the room, my child found a pill on the carpet; only two elevators were working, and the wait time to go up or down was over 20 minutes. Additionally, there were surprise charges on top of what had already been paid via Booking.
Room was clean and staff was very eager to please.
The elevators were down and depending on the time took too long to get a ride. Also another thing they probably didn’t think about were people with disabilities who couldn’t take the steps. On 2 occasions my kiddos missed breakfast by the time they got downstairs. I had to go up and down the stairs 3 times at check in because my key wouldn’t work…..with several kids with disabilities. It just wasn’t realistic, and was overwhelming. There was a day also I was asked for parking at the gate although it was prepaid.
I found the staff to be exceptional.
The hotel was dated and dingy!!
This was the worst hotel I’ve ever experienced in my 50 years of life. We brought our family on a vacation in Chicago and booked this hotel in the hopes of having a comfortable stay. We were told the rooms would accommodate a family of four comfortably. Unfortunately, the walls are paper, thin, and you can hear everyone all around you. Housekeeping is sparse and sporadic. We had to constantly call the front desk to get new towels and clean sheets. The air conditioner broke and we had to have someone come and repair it and even with the repair it was still weak, and this was during a very high heat wave week in the city. The Security is a joke. Kids were running all over knocking on doors and disrupting other families. The culture of the hotel seems to attract people who really just want to park their kids in a hotel room and go down to the lounge to drink. The breakfast area was a zoo in the morning. It was a messy buffet and very crowded. Long lines and complete chaos in the morning and during their happy hour. The beds are tiny and uncomfortable. They’re full-size beds are literally the size of a twin and can only sleep one person. The pullout couches are very uncomfortable Spend your money elsewhere.
Location
We were not told ahead of time that their elevators were being repaired, so all the many guests were left to use only 2 elevators. Created a lengthy delay for all.
