A Truly Exceptional Seven-Night Stay at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok
My seven-night stay at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok was nothing short of exceptional. From its prime location and impeccable service to its refined luxury and genuine Thai hospitality, it is undoubtedly one of Bangkok’s finest addresses.
The hotel’s location is superb. Phloen Chit BTS Station is just a five-minute walk away, with the route being largely sheltered from the elements. Situated in one of Bangkok’s most prestigious neighbourhoods, guests are surrounded by renowned luxury hotels such as the Park Hyatt and Rosewood, while the elegant Central Embassy offers an outstanding selection of upscale restaurants, cafés and designer boutiques. An excellent luxury massage spa is also within easy walking distance. Everything one could possibly require is conveniently at hand, making it entirely possible to enjoy an extended stay without ever needing to venture beyond the neighbourhood.
From the Club Lounge on the 26th floor, guests are treated to tranquil views across the verdant Wireless Road district, overlooking the beautifully landscaped residences of the American and Dutch Ambassadors. It is a remarkably peaceful setting amidst the vibrant energy of central Bangkok.
I had the pleasure of staying in the magnificent Royal Suite, which was both spacious and exquisitely appointed. Elegant floral arrangements, exceptionally plush bathroom towels, luxurious furnishings and sweeping city views combined to create an atmosphere of understated sophistication and comfort.
What truly distinguishes The Athenee, however, is its people. The warmth, professionalism and genuine attentiveness demonstrated by every department made this one of the most memorable hotel experiences I have enjoyed.
My sincere appreciation goes to Khun Saifah, the Breakfast Manager, who thoughtfully arranged my daily selection of beverages and fresh fruits, each presented with remarkable care and artistry. I am equally grateful to Khun Khuan and Khun Dream from the Concierge team, who efficiently secured all my restaurant reservations and, most impressively, coordinated the collection and delivery of my gardening tools from a homeware store directly to the hotel. Their thoughtful assistance saved me a laborious two-hour return journey to the suburbs, exemplifying the concierge team’s commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
Above all, my heartfelt thanks go to Khun Irada Thasapad, whose gracious attention to every detail ensured that my seven-day stay was effortless, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable. Her dedication to guest satisfaction reflects the very highest standards of hospitality.
The Athenee Hotel succeeds in delivering a rare combination of timeless elegance, impeccable service and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. My entire stay was, in every respect, near perfection.

We had a lovely time at Rain Tree Cafe! Food selection was impressive and everything was really delicious! What really surprised me was the abundance of Alaskan King Crabs and the unlimited Foie Gras! The dining experience was really amazing given that their team was really attentive to everyone’s needs and the biggest jaw-dropping moment is when they came out with their little birthday surprise to my mom with a birthday cake! Kudos to Kao, Bris, As, and Com! Definitely coming back!
Rain Tree international buffet at night time is good. There are variety foods e.g., seafood, Japanese sushi/sashimi, Indian, salad bar, smoked meats, etc.

This restaurant locate in the nice area of Bangkok and easy to travel here. The variety of food is okay, you can try different kinds of food here. The service is excellent -as well, Kao and Bris are super helpful and kind to our team. I really recommend if you want to spend time for international buffet in Bangkok

Excellent service from the staff. Narisara and Tida gave exceptional care to my family at breakfast. The entire staff from Chok at the front door to everyone to the cleaning staff gave everyone a special experience.
The breakfast and lunch buffets were simply delicious. Top tier. The chefs will also customize some dishes to fit your taste. Do try the best pizzeria in Thailand across the street too.
The grounds were well kept and the gym and pool had everything we needed to make our trip spectacular. I would highly recommend the Athena Hotel for your next stay in Bangkok. It’s centrally located with the highest standards.
The Athenee Hotel is really a great choice to stay. The staff are the mostly friendly ones you can see the Bangkok. Such as Somsom in the hotel buffet, June in the front desk and Narisa as our room attendant, definitely will stay with Athenee in next trip.
