Location excellent, staff brilliant, hotel facilities average.
Pros:

All staff that we met were extremely charming

Cons:

We had a bedside light that did not work. More importantly, on our first of two mornings, we had no hot water. For the price we paid I think the hotel should concentrate more on making sure everything is functional.

A good stay in a central hotel that matched our requirements.

Lovely outside garden with plenty of seating.
Good on site car park and very near to the centre of town.

Cons:

The hotel was VERY hot.
Carpet on the stairs and passageways in the annex wing was very worn and dated.

Comfortable, relaxing stay.

Cons:

No air conditioning, the room was boiling. And honestly it was the firmest bed I’ve ever tried to sleep on, it was like trying to sleep on floorboards.

Tiny carpark which was inevitably full, so I had to find a public carpark.

Had a really nice stay but I felt the breakfast wasn’t to the same standard.
Pros:

Location was excellent. The garden area was nice to sit outside in the sun. Bed and ensuite were really nice. A fan was in the room as it was warm.

Pros:

It was our wedding anniversary and as a result they kindly upgraded us to a beautiful room in the main building with a lovely display and card on the bed. The weather was insane that week so it was a welcome relief to have a small portable air con unit.
The location is fantastic, right in the mide of town, but nice and quiet.
We will definitely look to stay again in the future.
