Easy access to the hotel
The bathroom was quite old and the courtain was short and leaked water outside the tub
At Extended Stay America, Elmsford, Westchester, NY. The rooms are outdated and need to be updated. The kitchenette countertops are old/ outdated and have cracks. The refrigerators in the rooms are old and leaking a lot. The two rooms I stayed in for a duration had cockroaches and flying bugs. The hallways' carpeting are not cleaned properly. The front of the hotel is dirty, filthy, and not cleaned nor swept often, especially for the rates being charged. Some guests' dogs 🐕 poop 💩 in the driveway and the poop isn't cleaned up. During the winter time, the front of the hotel isn't cleared of ice until late during the daytime. I fell on ice from a snowstorm during the wintertime because the ice and snow that piled up in front of the hotel wasn't not cleared. I informed the General Manager about this and nothing was done. The cockroaches need to be exterminated. The front of this hotel needs to be less filthy, look and be kept cleaner. Some of the front desk staff are not professional enough. The front desk area is also filthy and should be kept and wiped daily, a bad appearance to guest especially when its filthy.
This hotel was recently updated, and the rooms were definitely clean. However, the smell of marijuana was pervasive throughout the hotel including the bathroom in our room (where the smell came through the vents. We had to get ready in the bathroom with the light off because the fan vent turned on as soon as you turned the light on.)There is never anyone at the front desk and you have to call out for about five minutes before someone comes to help you. The breakfast is processed muffins and oatmeal with hot water. There is no decaf coffee. I would skip this hotel.

The rooms were clean and a decent size.
The hotel 's ambience outside could use some work. Several times when we would enter into the hotel, we could smell weed. I know there is no control over people smoking it outside. We couldn't get new towels when needed. Had to wait several hours. The bed was not comfortable for me.
