Convenient to where we were going (Count Basie Theater).

At least the drive to beach from hotel was not bad.
Day of arrival approximately 7:30pm. After checking in there were 2 police officers in lobby. Not sure what was wrong ??? The first room given to us on 3rd floor had open food packages and several open soda cans in refrigerator. There was opened potato chip bags in kitchen cabinet drawer. Second room on 3rd floor given to us , smelled heavy with cigarettes and had one open ginger ale bottle in refrigerator! Went back downstairs. The receptionist Maya took me to see two rooms on second level. One smelled musty and the second room smelled ok and at least the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets were empty. We lost 1.5 hr dealing with this situation. We had a late dinner and was exhausted from a day of work and driving down south 1.5 hours to hotel. Came back to hotel after dinner and went to use shower.. when I went to grab bath mat to lay on bathroom floor I noticed the bath mat was folded and wet!! When I opened sheets I found a black long hair!!! We had to sleep with a shawl covering the pillows. Next morning, I took sheets off bed and towels to receptionist to get a replacement as I was told that they don’t have daily service. The morning staff apologized and gave us a room with two beds. Prior to that she went to check several rooms. My elderly mother who was with me got an allergic reaction from the room that we stayed from Friday to Saturday. The room was not cleaned properly as there was hair on sheets and wet bath mat. We had to get allergy medication for the terrible allergies from pet hair and unclean rooms. Even though it is a pet friendly hotel. The cleaning staff has to take extra precautions with cleaning rooms and check the kitchen cabinets for any trash left behind from previous clients. Our last room 227 was better but had a miserable time with going back and forth to complain even with the general manager who really didn’t do much other than “sorry”.
Location and that’s about it. So disappointed.
I took photos of the room. It was horrific. Large black ants crawling on the walls, disgusting stains all over the walls. This is not what anyone should pay for !!! The room had a bad odor to it. The linens were dirty !!!

Course called downstairs immediately and the young lady at front desk asked if I wanted another room which I declined because by the look of the hotel every room would’ve been the same. It was a horrible experience. This facility should not be on booking.com. I rely on booking through your website as it’s never failed me but this was just unacceptable.

I had an excellent stay at the Extended Stay America in Red Bank, NJ. The entire stay exceeded my expectations. What sets this property apart is the phenomenal staff.
I want to specifically call out Jacqueline at the front desk. Jacqueline always gave every guest the warmest greetings, and efficient check-in experience. She was genuinely welcoming, answered all my questions about the area, and made sure I had everything I needed right from the start. Throughout my stay, Jacqueline consistently went out of her way with a smile whenever any guest passed the desk.
The management here clearly takes immense pride in running a tight ship, and that is thanks to Rob, Jacqueline’s supervisor. Rob runs an exceptionally professional, clean, and well-managed property. Whenever I saw him around the building, he was actively checking in on guests and making sure operations were running smoothly. It is nice to see leadership so hands-on and dedicated to guest satisfaction.
The room itself was spotless, quiet, and well-appointed, with a fully functional kitchen that made daily life completely hassle free. The location is also fantastic, offering easy access to everything Red Bank has to offer while still providing a restful, safe environment to recharge. The location is especially convenient to downtown Red Bank and the rest of the shore. It’s close to Monmouth Beach, which was a huge plus.
Between the spotless accommodations and the outstanding hospitality from Rob and Jacqueline, this location has earned a customer for life. If you need a reliable, comfortable, and truly welcoming place to stay in Monmouth County, look no further. Highly recommended!
Last minute decision to stay down the shore and this was convenient and a decent price

My girlfriend and I stayed at this location for a small summer getaway. Booking was easy check in and out was effortless. Both the over night and day shift front desk clerks were both so friendly and helpful. Recommend spots to hit in the area were much appreciated and were perfect. Thank you so much for a great weekend and exceptional customer service.
