Wonderful hotel, very charming and well looked after, lovely facilities, close to the best parts of Bournemouth.
No aircon in the room. It was 23c the day we stayed and it was uncomfortable trying to sleep. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was perfect.
Good location, quiet but close to beach and the town centre ,good tree lined outdoor space to relax and ideal centre if you are looking to explore the New Forest and the Jurassic coast
Also the Hotels in-house Arbor restaurant was tremendous, catering for all requirements from excellent an breakfast to bar food to high-end bistro food as you would expect from AA2 rosette restaurant all served by a friendly and efficient team
Front door could be improved to give that first impression that a hotel of this standard deserves
Everything was amazing the room the staff the location absolutely beautiful stay.
Sweets & Fruits im ersten Stock for free.
The free nibbles on the first floor was a nice touch.
There was a dead rat outside the restaurant window, but was removed, and a dead fly inside restaurant on windowsill which was there for the 2 days we stayed.
No instructions on how to use the coffee.
Breakfast was good, Room was spacious clean and everything worked. Hotel was in a good location - the hotel itself was quiet.
The overnight staff member was a bit grumpy
The location was very good, away from the noise of the centre but everything an easy walk and with a bus stop nearby. A quiet hotel.
Our room was a bit soulless as there wasn’t a view and there was no artwork on the walls.
The breakfast could have been better.
Very good food in the restaurant. Good location.
The hotel was located very conveniently, with only a short walk to Bournemouth Pier. We were a group of four couples and we all had lovely rooms situated on the first and second floor. How lovely to have a beautiful big walk-in shower and a roll top bath. There is a small selection of tea and coffee in the room a kettle and a fabulous coffee making machine and you are given fresh milk on arrival which you can collect each day.
You have to pay per day, per car for parking which irked us at first but then we realised that’s quite standard for the local area.
We had dinner in the restaurant, the portions were a little small for some of us (the men) but everything was super tasty and beautifully presented. Breakfast was delicious and made to order.
Finally, and most importantly, ALL the staff at the hotel are unbelievably helpful, I think they must have special training to make sure that you have the best stay because anything we wanted was given to us with a smile. 😊 🙌
We stayed for 3 nights d&bb. Hotel was extremely clean in all areas including our room. Reception, bar and dining room staff were amazing! Friendly, polite and cant do enough for you. Fresh milk including dairy free available from reception in a flask. Hotel is in a lovely quiet area near the beach. The food is gorgeous and caters for gluten & dairy free. Rooms are spacious and lots of little extras, will definately be returning. Oh and parking is easy as they have their own car park.
The staff are great , the food is phenomenal, great location and decor throughout
The pillows !
Excellent value for money with very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing that comes to mind.
reasonable vegetarian options at breakfast.
Excellent location, near the beach and restaurants
they seem to be short staffed in the kitchen and it took 45 minutes to get our cooked breakfast
rooms are old and could do with some brightening up
Very clean, close to beach and local amenities
Would have been nice to have a fuller menu to choose from
Very clean…staff tried to make us happy
My husband couldn’t sleep due to the constant humming next to the kitchen ..the manager couldn’t have done any more as he would switch rooms and offered free breakfast and apologised but my husband wanted to go home to get sleep,
