Spoilt by sleepless nights due to no air conditioning and not having free parking

Outside temperature was mid 30s, no air conditioning, not acceptable these days. Breakfast was average.

Also its disgusting to have to pay for the car park at £10/day

Nice property, but air conditioning is essential during a heatwave.
Pros:

The property was clean and in a good location, but our stay was significantly affected by the lack of air conditioning. We visited during a major heatwave, and the indoor temperature became extremely uncomfortable, especially at night, making it very difficult to sleep.

Een beetje geluidsoverlast van bovenburen, maar dat kun je verwachten in een oud pand met houten vloeren. Staat van onderhoud aan buitenzijde pand.

A touch of luxury in a great location. Bathroom was gorgeous and breakfast absolutely delicious
Pros:

Beautiful boutique hotel with a very warm welcome at reception. Nice touches throughout.
I requested an early check in and they delivered on this. We were very grateful as we needed to get off to my daughter’s cheer comp.

Cons:

I was a bit nervous on being told parking is first come first serve. We arrive around 13:00 for 15:00 check in and we were fine.

Hot night ! No USB Charging sockets in the room

Lack of USB sockets within the rooms
Very hard to cool the room during the heat wave; no A/C in any area including the rooms; and I knew this before booking. Small fan in the cupboard not that effective. Health and safety prevented me from opening the window more than a few inches to create a better flow of air.

Insgesamt war alles bestens
Pros:

Die gute Lage und das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Wir waren zu viert unterwegs und im Frühstücksraum, waren nur 2er Tische gedeckt. Auf Nachfrage, ob wir auch irgendwo zu viert sitzen können, haben zwei Servicekräfte uns sofort zwei 2er-Tische zusammen geschoben… Toller Service😍

Excellent location, very close to the beach, restaurants, cafes and venues. It is a cosy hotel, rooms are clean and spacious, downstairs bar has excellent choice of cocktails and the restaurant food is to die for!

Good hotel and location with EV charging
Pros:

Breakfast good with plenty of choice service sometimes a little slow. Cosy room was adequate but short on storage. Bathroom very small but good large shower. Bottled water was provided and replenished daily as were tea and coffee. Fruit and snacks were on hand too. Short walk to town and beach

Cons:

We opted for DB&B however whilst the food was good the dinner set menu choices were quirky and limited the daily fish special was the same on 2 consequent nights and on the other 2 nights the accompanying sauce and gnocchi was the same and not to purr taste.
