The breakfast was ok , the location beautiful and seeing the church was the highlight of the trip.
There was nothing I didn’t like.
Un très bel établissement, dans un cadre authentique où l’histoire et le charme du lieu sont parfaitement préservés.
Le restaurant surplombe la baie et offre une vue spectaculaire.
La cour intérieure, nichée au cœur du cloître, est tout simplement magnifique et confère au lieu une atmosphère unique.
Le personnel est d’une gentillesse remarquable, attentionné et chaleureux. Le service est impeccable du début à la fin.
Une très belle adresse, que je recommande vivement !
Le lit double est en réalité composé de deux lits juxtaposés, ce qui n’est pas très confortable : un espace se forme régulièrement au milieu du lit pendant la nuit.
La piscine, idéalement située en bord de mer, mériterait d’être rénovée afin d’être davantage à la hauteur du standing de l’établissement.
Enfin, l’accès à la piscine, censée être réservée aux clients de l’hôtel, semble en réalité ouvert à des personnes extérieures. Cela soulève également quelques interrogations concernant la sécurité et le contrôle des accès.
Ein sehr gepflegtes Hotel mit historischem Hintergrund, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, Pool mit privatem Zugang zum Meer, saubere und ruhige Juniorsuite mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Das Morgenessen war sehr gut mit reichhaltigem und schön angerichtetem Buffet.
TV war etwas klein, Badezimmer ebenfalls etwas eng.

Location just five minutes from the hustle of town. Great breakfast and lovely staff .

Hotel affascinante e ricco di storia! Il personale è gentilissimo e professionale. Una colazione varia e di ottima qualità come anche la cena.
Una vista aperta indimenticabile sul mare e su tutta Amalfi dalla stanza e dal ristorante/breakfast room, con meravigliosi soffitti affrescati, come anche quello della stanza. Bella piscina di acqua di mare a disposizione, con la possibilità di scegliere anche lettini in zone all'ombra in cui leggere, dormire e rilassarsi. Accesso al mare compreso per chi lo preferisse.
Ci è davvero dispiaciuto andare via...
A beautiful historic building and excellent location for access to the town, with very helpful, friendly staff.
A good breakfast selection and excellent evening meal in the Saracen tower restaurant.
The swimming pool, although a fabulous location and kept very clean was a little dated cosmetically.
The staff were the best we’ve ever encountered!! They were so helpful and professional yet appreciated our humour and shared a laugh with us every day. Made you feel like family ❤️

Super central and not heaps of stairs to get to. Pool was epic. Staff were amazing
It’s on the older side. Which makes sense and gives it character but it means the bathroom is a bit aged. Also king bed as two singles is really obvious and moves apart
Our room was just under the restaurant and could here the chair get moved, early morning and late evening, most staff was arrogant like all hotel staff in Italy
The hotel is a historic gem. An old convent with interior details that transport you to another time. The staff was impeccable arranging rides, dinners and information with charm and integrity. The views and location were ideal. The pool is a special experience and the food was wonderful and the pool tower restaurant was beautiful and fantastic. Every restaurant that was recommended in town and nearby was a special experience and you can walk everywhere easily. There is even a tunnel to the city but wonderful to walk along the cliff and water to town. It was a perfect experience with two adults and two teenagers.
There's not much to dislike but you must be careful crossing the street from hotel to pool (look both ways) and there are steps to the pool, but minor in the end for the amazing experience. I think everyone visits Positano understandably, but Amalfi and this hotel are very, very special.
