Soweit so gut
Pros:

Gute Lage, freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer sind sauber, die Betten bequem. Die U-Bahn fährt direkt angrenzend, bis King’s Cross ist es nur eine Station.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind eher eng geschnitten und im Ausbaustandard nur mittelmäßig. Während das Hotel selbst mit seinen Fluren und Treppenhäusern pompös gestaltet ist, wirkt die Einrichtung der Zimmer durchschnittlich und wenig ansprechend. Den Preis rechtfertigen letztlich allein Ort und Lage.

at 500 GBP per night I expected better

Very professional and helpful staff

Cons:

All elevatiors out of order during the 2 day stay. Only elevator working was the kitchen staff evelavtor, As my room was on the 5th floor they had to escort me through the kitchen each time I wanted to go to my room.

Good location and easy access to the tube
Pros:

Stayed here as part of a travel group. This is a very nice hotel located in a nice part of London. The nearest tube station is literally around the corner and several nice pubs nearby.

Great Recovery and Outstanding Customer Service
Pros:

Updated; After posting this review, I emailed the hotel to share my disappointment. I have to say, I was extremely impressed with how quickly and professionally they responded.

Roksana from the hotel team was fantastic — they looked into what happened, apologised for the misunderstanding, and went above and beyond to help arrange the champagne surprise for my friends’ engagement.

They arranged the Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial, organised a handwritten personalised note, and made sure everything was taken care of. Their communication was excellent, and they completely turned around what had initially been a disappointing experience.

Thank you, Roksana, for your kindness and for helping make celebration even more special. This is exactly the level of care and service that makes a real difference.

Some of our very good friends were staying here and got engaged, which was a wonderful surprise for all of us. I called to arrange for a bottle of champagne to be delivered to their room as a celebratory gesture, but was told the hotel requires 48 hours’ notice for something as simple as a bottle of champagne.

I found that really disappointing. For a hotel, especially one that caters to special occasions, I would have expected a bit more flexibility to help make such a memorable moment even more special.

Decent room size. Superb room service and everything all good from stay, service, and location.
Love the bed and my family had good sleep, clean & quiet room. Aircond coldness isnot consistent in room. Amazing stay

Another poor stay and check in for inner circle member.
Pros:

Queen room on 5th floor with non park view is an upgrade. I have stayed close to a dozen stays here and have not got an inner circle treatment for a room upgrade in almost every stay. At over $500 USD a night-non weekend it is frustrating. I stay for loyalty but I think I am now done. The staff do not seem to care. Maybe it is just London/. Room dirty from prior guest and struggle to even find a spot to put luggage room is so small.

Vänlig och professionell personal på ett anrikt hotell i ett område fyllt av litteratur och kultur.
Pros:

Atmosfären i stadsdelen Bloomsbury med dess kulturella och litterära historia ger en särskild kvalitet till vistelsen. Fitzroy Kimpton är ett hotell med anor och har en speciell miljö. Personalen är ytterst vänlig och hjälpsam.

Cons:

Det rådde värmebölja i London under min vistelse. Det gjorde att hissarna inte fungerade hela tiden men hotellet gjorde allt för att trots detta underlätta för oss gäster.
