The breakfast was wonderful buffet!
The first night we were booked in a room right behind where the elevator ran. It was awful, it kept us up the whole night. The manager was very nice and changed our room for us which was appreciated.

This hotel has THE Best location for walking, dining and exploring! Our room on the 25th floor had spectacular views…night and day. Best hotel beds ever with all the comfort we could ask for. An added plus are the many dining options in this hotel with even a grab and go section that was perfect for our drive home. The staff was so welcoming that it was hard to leave, but we will be back!
As Bonvoy Platinum Elite members, we expected better. Multiple serious issues made this stay one of the worst we've had at a Marriott property.
Room upgrade: We were assigned a small room and quoted $300 to upgrade, the same room we received as a free upgrade the prior year when we had lesser status. That is not how earned benefits should work.
Elevators: At no point during our stay were all five elevators working. On Sunday only two were operational, creating long lines just to access our floor. The hotel was simultaneously hosting conventions and weddings, making it far worse. We were late to two separate reservations because of it.
Hot water: No hot water at 5:30 AM on any morning of our stay.
Management: At checkout we asked to speak with a manager. A front desk associate promised a callback within 25 minutes. That call never came. No follow-up of any kind since.
We are loyal Marriott guests. This property did not meet even basic standards, let alone those expected by Platinum Elite members. Hopefully management takes these concerns seriously, as they have our contact information.
I love from the moment I got there to the moment we left. Our room was beautiful. The staff was lovely our room. The view was amazing. The restaurant was delicious. The breakfast was scrumptious the waiter Jodie she was a doll. She did everything for us. She made the stay beautiful. We were there for three mornings for breakfast and it couldn’t have been better. Would definitely recommend the Marriott waterfront excellent hotel I valet my car. It was a little pricey, but it didn’t matter you could take it in and out as much as you want and it was always down within 10 minutes and the hotel was busy, but they kept running it beautifully. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you for everything you did for us.
