Great location. Quiet location (double glazed x 2). Hungry horse next door.
Spotless room, even had USB and USB C sockets by each side of the bed. Couldn’t fault it for the money.
We had a family room with 3 beds. The room was very clean room and also the bathroom had a shower which is better than a bath. The water pressure was not strong but I suppose it to save water. It was in a quiet area. The weather was really hot so we used the fan in the room all night.
We had a great price and try to book another night but it was fully booked. We had to book one in Lancaster which was not as clean as the one in Preston. We will come again in need it.
Great hotel very clean and tidy, on check in the lad was very helpful and really chatty. Pillows were lumpy and need replacement I’d say that’s only negative. Breakfast was unlimited and was as you’d expect from these hotels nowt fancy but does the job perfectly.
From checking in the stay was really nice.
Mike at reception went above and beyond in customer care.
Would recommend
Half the hotel rooms border a dual carriageway so it's really noisy. The secondary glazing they have installed is useless. Expect a sleepless night.
Mike And Terri checked us in. Smooth check-in, huge restaurant and lovely rooms. Probably best travelodge I have stayed in. Would recommend.
Stayed here with work for a week and was impresssed all around. Have stayed in Travelodge before and not had great experiences but Preston North is a lovely, modern, refurbed and quiet hotel. Was checked in by Sam upon arrival who was great, he was helpful, professional and friendly. All staff I spoke to across days and nights were polite and helpful. Room was quiet, no noise from outside or the corridor and the bed was surprisingly comfy for a hotel bed, I slept perfectly each night. Shower a little basic and room a little hot but nothing unfixable. Only negative was the Lift being out of use and the 6 flights of stairs upto the 3rd floor being a pain.
Handy location just off the motorway. Staff friendly and helpful. Reasonable sized car park.
Room nice and quiet even though it overlooked the motorway.
Nice and clean, bed very hard.
Breakfast a good choice of food , however no orange juice , just apple or apple and orange.
Amazing time, thanks Terri & Mike
Mike and Teri were so helpful and lovely.
Would definitely recommend this hotel,I need to recommend two members of staff that made us feel so welcome and they are called Terri and Sam .They made our stay very nice ,lovely manners and very friendly, went out of there way to make us feel welcome .would definitely recommend this hotel and top two members of staff Sam and Terri .we will stay here again and Sam and Terri need to be on shift for the stay while we are there
We stayed here as a stop off point on route to the lake district.
We had a very warm welcome from the guy on Reception and was quickly given the key to our room on the 3rd floor, there was a lift so getting our luggage to our room was very easy.
The room itself was a nice size, very clean and had soap for washing your hands as well as body wash in the shower.
The tv was also a nice size, unfortunately no catch up tv but for the price we paid (£30.99) this wasnt an issue.
Tea and coffee making facilities in room.
The car park was huge and is free, you just need to enter your car reg details on the machine inside the hotel, we were lucky to park right under the window of our room so we could see the car clearly, always peace of mind.
The hotel has a cafe/pub onsite but is also very well located to the Hungry Horse pub next door, if you want a pint or something to eat, we ventured out the hotel and turned left, there was a premier shop 10 mins walk away, if you need any last minute snacks etc, which was handy, we found a fantastic place called Ginger Bistro, the food was amazing and the staff was lovely and friendly, they do very nice cocktails.
Only a few negatives, the bedsheets had horrible dirty stains on that hadn't been washed or changed since the last guests, by the time we noticed we were ready for bed and just wanted to sleep, so we turned them round and made doo for 1 night.
We were only given 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel for the 2 of us, again we didnt complain and managed.
Other than this we could recommend and would stay again.
Stayed here for a night .
Mike who checked us in was fabulous. Really helpful . The room was good very tidy. Would definitely stay here again just for the banter with fabulous Mike .
It was a great experience here. The cleanness of the room, the location, the food, and the staff, especially Mike, were all excellent. He was friendly and very helpful. I’ll definitely visit again and highly recommend this place.
Ethan was excellent. He looked after my mother and I all evening. The food was well presented and tasty. He ran the bar, reception, kitchen and did the service. Multi talented.
Good location. Relaxed atmosphere. Room was exactly what it needed to be and for good value. Service was excellent by all members of staff, Ethan in particular was very attentive.
I spent 3 nights here as I was in Preston for a family visit. I often stay in Central Preston but parking is a pain and hotels are on the expensive side so I decided on Broughton, it was a good decision. It has only recently rebranded as a TL so the rooms have a fresh feel about them. I recently stayed in a new TL in Wiltshire, their rooms were tiny but those in Broughton were a great size and comfy. It is well equipped with a restaurant / bar and pub next door. The location is very good, right next to J32 of the M6 but no traffic noise. It is a 20 minute walk to Black Bull Lane which has a lively pub, a recently opened bar and artisan alehouse. . You can also get the bus at this junction which takes you to Central Preston in 10 mins. You have to register for parking but it is free and plentiful. Staff are great, will come again.
We stayed here for 1 night and by gos it was lush. From the room to the dinner it was amazing. A special mention to the guy Mike who served us. He was a real gentleman and helping in the situation with our little 2 year old who was hell bent on moving everything around as in the furniture and he quickly said if it is keeping her happy let her do it al tidy it all back together after yous leave. He was amazing with her interacting and playing games with her. His service to myself and wife was second to none he deserves a medal for how he coped with it all and the mess my little one made didn’t phase him at all.
Excellent location, Mike on reception and all the staff great customer service. Nice freshly cooked food and nice room. Nice bar also choice of a pub next door with tables outside music in the back round and fortunately for us the sun was shining. Plenty of retail outlets near by. We will be staying again good value thank you all.
Such a lovely welcome from Mike and a great explanation of everything. We stay in travel lodges a lot but this was the best experience and welcome ever. Everything was checked and we felt very happy
