Pros:

Spa and pool area nice, very large lounge and dining room in spa suite. Fabulous view of Botanical gardens and free on site parking.

Cons:

Spa in spa suite only for 1 person not two.
Old building, we had a substantial leak from the bathroom ceiling that was fixed twice in our 2 night stay there.

Great location, great value for money, and overall great experience. Recommended.
Pros:

Location: absolute great location, lots of main attractions and shopping streets in walking distance.
Staff: super kind and helpful. Great example of going the extra mile for the customer. Thank you again!
Room: spacious, clean, style not overdone. Large panoramic window, working desk, iron and ironing board, empty fridge for your own stuff.
Bed: real king size beds, proper size pillows, superb comfort.
Bath: clean, large shower enclosure.
Breakfast: awsome, full scale between continental and English breakfast. On demand eggs cooked to order (omelettes and sort). Great selection for kids too.

Cons:

This is a remodeled old hotel. Yes, there were a couple of minor things that could have already been repaired or fixed, but not much to mention here. Overall quality meets the expectations in its class. Sure one can find fancier hotels around, however, its value for the money in the 4 star range is excellent. So those bad feedbacks are probably somewhat exaggerated.

Pros:

Everything about the royal was excellent. Staff are friendly, helpful and treat you like your the only one there. Dinning was excellent, the food was fantactic.
