Nothing to dislike about the hotel, but got caught out booking via booking.com, I completely missed that I hadn't paid, I've been booking quite a few hotels for my trip and every single one I've paid for upfront which I thought I had done with this one so was a bit of a shock. This was my mistake & thankfully the lady was patient with me as I doubled checked but I think the app should make it really clear that I hadn't paid and was only a reserve. It did say in the small print of my confirmation email but doesn't really stand out.

Comfortable and clean. Would recommend this spot as an inner city location!
Pros:

The location to the city, food precinct and parklands was second to none!

Cons:

The property itself has a bit of age to it, but that did not detract from the stay experience.

Old school hotel, well located
Pros:

Large room and huge bed, close to Botanical Gardens. Pleasant ambience, if a little dated. Staff were helpful after some booking mishaps

Cons:

Spa pool was lukewarm at best. Japanese style toilet didn't seem to be operational!!
