Shower didn’t work - flooded entire bathroom. Very slow and reluctant to reply it.

Mediocre Paris stay
Pros:

The location of the property was good making it easy to walk or catch public transport. Staff greeted you at the lobby. Bedroom itself was good and the balcony overlooking the street was nice

Cons:

The bathroom really smelt horrible not sure if it’s just because it was old or if it was a mould smell it was revolting didn’t want to leave any of my toiletries in the room and it was also tiny! Think you would find better value and cleaner bathrooms elsewhere.

Pros:

Está situado en pleno barrio de Saint-Germain-des-Prés, a tiro de piedra de las estaciones de metro de Saint-Placide y Montparnasse. Esto te permite moverte por todo París súper fácil y llegar caminando en nada a sitios como los Jardines de Luxemburgo, que son una maravilla para dar un paseo por la mañana. La zona además está llena de cafeterías típicas parisinas, boulangeries brutales para desayunar y bastantes tiendas.

La habitación era tirando a compacta —algo totalmente estándar y esperable para un hotel en el centro de París—, pero para dormir y ducharse cumplía de sobra. Estaba muy limpia, la cama era cómoda y el aislamiento acústico hacia la calle nos sorprendió para bien; no escuchamos nada de ruido por la noche a pesar de estar en una zona con vida. El baño también estaba bien equipado y correcto.

El personal de recepción fue bastante amable y atento, nos atendieron estupendamente en todo momento y nos ayudaron con recomendaciones locales. No contratamos el desayuno del hotel porque prefiriendo salir a las cafeterías de la zona, pero el espacio donde lo servían se veía acogedor.

Si vas con la idea de patear París, estar bien comunicado y dormir en un barrio con muchísimo encanto y seguro, es una opción super recomendable por la relación calidad-precio que ofrece. Repetiría sin duda.

Unfortunately, our stay left a rather unpleasant impression.

There was an unpleasant smell in the room. The soundproofing was practically nonexistent: we could constantly hear noises from outside, and at times it even felt as if someone was walking inside our room. In the morning, several times it sounded as though someone was trying to open our door.

The pillows were also extremely hard, almost like stones, which made it very difficult to sleep comfortably.

We were also asked to pay €11 in city tax in cash, but we were not given any receipt, invoice, or any other proof of payment. Because of this, the situation felt quite strange and made us question whether the payment had been officially recorded.

Overall, we expected much more from our stay.

Pros:

Lokalizacja, świetne śniadanie, wspólna przestrzeń gdzie można wypić kawę z ekspresu, wygodne łóżko, ładny widok z okna.

Cons:

Czystość pozostawiała wiele do życzenia, łazience przydałby się remont, widać „zużycie” po meblach i ścianach, trochę nadgorliwa obsluga.
