Has a great location, but some issues take away from a prefect experience
Pros:

All the important aspects were covered. Great bed with a clean bathroom, linens, and toiletries. Feature such as the mini bar, air conditioner, towel bar, and safe were all in working order. The view from the room was exceptional and the location can't be beat in Paris if you want a quiet neighborhood with minimal tourists ad access to the Paris Metro and the RER-B train to the airport.

Cons:

This stay would have been perfect if it wasn't for the two issues. The carpets on the 3rd and 5th floors were filthy and should be replaced. It was not an issue when we stayed a year ago, but now it takes away from a 4 star hotel experience. Next, the dining room is in the basement without windows with limited food selection for the cost being asked. Its not worth it, and its inconvenient to always have to ask the day before for gluten-free products. This Machefert property has so much potential and is up to the management pick up the ball. Fix the carpet, acquire the bar/restaurant at the corner and truly make it a 4 start destination, since the staff at the hotel is doing their part. Otherwise I would have rated our stay a 9 instead of a 6.

The villa montparnasse is wonderfully located , but lacks security
Pros:

Hotel was in an excellent location near wonderful cafe's , restaurants , and train / subway lines making it easy to go quickly to any choice destination
Hotel staff were very friendly

Cons:

The property has relatively low level of security, nothing to stop one from entering into suite areas without impedance from the street. No badging required to access the inner areas of the hotel

Pros:

Het personeel was best behulpzaam. Er was wel een zeer groot balkon. Met 180 ° graden zicht op Parijs net naast Cimetiere Montparnasse gelegen.

Cons:

De frigo werkte niet of kon niet worden aangesloten en rook als zeer lang opgesloten. De badkamer is dringend aan vernieuwing toe.

A Wonderful Stay
Pros:

Beautiful building with a superb location (very close to useful metro). Couldn’t have asked for better staff they were amazing and extremely kind and welcoming making our stay perfect. I would 100% come back again!
