A lovely hotel in a perfect location and great customer service.
Pros:

The location is perfect to see the attractions as the Metro and Busses are so close to the hotel. The staff and all receptionists are very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Nothing at all.

Wir haben uns in diesem charmanten Hotel sehr wohl gefühlt!
Pros:

Super Lage, gutes Frühstück, toller Ausblick (von unserem Zimmer - Eiffelturm, Sacre Coeur, Friedhof Montparnasse), schönes Interieur, alles sehr liebevoll gestaltet.

All the receptionists are very friendly and nice.

Merveilleux
Pros:

J'ai passé un merveilleux séjour dans la Villa Montparnasse.

J'ai été conquise par le charme de cet hôtel: son emplacement, le personnel, la chambre, les services, et la gentillesse et l'amabilité, en particulier d'Olga lors de mon départ.
Je reviendrai cet été et j'y séjournerai à nouveau sans hésiter.

Pros:

Equipe super est très accueillante et disponible. Emplaement très pratique pas très loin de Montparnasse.
Chambre bien aménagée.

Cons:

Seul petit bémol, le bruit de la rue (chambre pas très insonorisée)

Nice, but not very clean
Pros:

Spacious room with comfortable bed, nice surroundings

Cons:

The bath tub was quite shabby, and I found some hair in the towels. The windows in the bedroom were dirty and the curtains really dusty.

Has a great location, but some issues take away from a prefect experience
Pros:

All the important aspects were covered. Great bed with a clean bathroom, linens, and toiletries. Feature such as the mini bar, air conditioner, towel bar, and safe were all in working order. The view from the room was exceptional and the location can't be beat in Paris if you want a quiet neighborhood with minimal tourists ad access to the Paris Metro and the RER-B train to the airport.

Cons:

This stay would have been perfect if it wasn't for the two issues. The carpets on the 3rd and 5th floors were filthy and should be replaced. It was not an issue when we stayed a year ago, but now it takes away from a 4 star hotel experience. Next, the dining room is in the basement without windows with limited food selection for the cost being asked. Its not worth it, and its inconvenient to always have to ask the day before for gluten-free products. This Machefert property has so much potential and is up to the management pick up the ball. Fix the carpet, acquire the bar/restaurant at the corner and truly make it a 4 start destination, since the staff at the hotel is doing their part. Otherwise I would have rated our stay a 9 instead of a 6.
