I always enjoy the free breakfast and the view over Albany and the distant mountains.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine. However would like more gf options.

Cons:

The sheer drapes over the ac vent seem to have mold growing. Also bathtub stopper seal was defective. There was a loud banging through out the night from the stairwell door which was next to my room. Hadn’t noticed it on previous visits probably due to my location being away from the stairwell

Great staff and hotel
Pros:

My family has stayed here many times and the hotel is pleasant, clean, and quiet. We always receive a warm and kind welcome from the Front Desk and last night was no exception when Lili greeted us with friendliness and warmth after along day. She made us feel welcome immediately. The Front Desk staff even shared holiday decorations with my daughter on Christmas after she complimented them on their necklaces. You can’t go wrong staying here.

Despite the circumstances necessitating my trip, HIES delivered very well. TY!
Pros:

Room is spacious, well appointed for our needs, and had a comfortable bed. Additionally, it was quiet, there were no slamming doors, people conversing loudly, or other distractions making sleep difficult. Breakfast was good in the morning with a nice amount of food and drink options to accommodate just about any diet and palate. Staff were friendly, joked with me when I did with them, engaged to talk about the community and offered suggestions for area food choices when asked about their personal preferences. I've stayed in this HIES multiple times previously and when my travels take me that way again, I look forward to booking and staying again in the future.

Cons:

The shower could be a bit bigger. I'm a big guy and prefer a little extra room to move and not feel like a bull in a china shop. The pool area was unattended for a while as there were several towels on the chairs and tables. Also, the pool water was a bit cloudy. There were no off-putting smells, chlorine was definitely present, just want clear water.

overall good stay and I will be back again in 1 month for another visit
Pros:

very good breakfast. great location. staff was very friendly. the place was in great shape other than one of the shower doors

Cons:

One of the shower doors would not stay closed but would keep sliding open. I fould the room lighting too bright for me.
