The location cannot be beat, love the lounge chairs and little patios off of each room.
Don't expect much for breakfast but the coffee was good.
Oceanfront location. Sufficient parking available.
A bit rundown overall, very small rooms, basically a bed and some narrow space to move around it. Everything very basic.

I don’t like the bed facing the window. It should be against the wall facing the TV. The patio outside the furniture was all dirty. The rooms were small and it was hard to get in the shower with the door swinging in. No storage
For clothes not enough amenities for guest there were no blankets on the bed, just a sheet there wasn’t a regular coffee pot. I didn’t know how to use the one that was in there.
No coffee
It was a cozy room in a small hotel across the street from the beach. The 4-post bed was large and comfortable, the layout was unique with the bed in the center of the room. The property at a lot of character and vintage California charm. The patio was enjoyable, as were the comfortable lounge chairs on the grass.
The room had unique lighting and was furnished with a couple of snacks and waters.
The evening staff was very good. She was very accommodating and responsive. The the gardener, Ricardo was also very friendly and helpful.
Our reservation included an early check in but they weren't ready for us to check in until nearly 4:00.
The patio was a little noisy from the street, however we didn't hear the street noise in our room when the door was closed. The glass fencing around the property helped.
The morning attendents we're hard to find. It seemed hard to get help. The guy at the breakfast counter kept disappearing into the back room, even just to get a spoon or ice. They quickly ran out of food for the continental breakfast the first day and had nothing but coffee and tea the next day.
Checked in early so appreciate the accommodation. The location is great if you want easy access to the beach. The grounds are really pretty with lots of flowers and fire pits aglow at night. It has Spanish decor. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. Parking is also included. We also enjoyed the patio with our room- it helped balance the small room. There is coffee and pastry served in the morning.
It’s a motel like property so understand that. The room was very well air conditioned. Almost too cold. Our lights flickered so might be a short. Security entered our room late at night unannounced. They were attempting to help an adjacent guest that lost their key and they entered the wrong room. This could have ended badly. The bed takes up a lot of the room so there is minimal room to move around.
This is a lovingly cared for historic building in just about the best location. Our room was small but so full of charm and character, for example the gorgeous tile mosaic in the shower stall. The staff were delightful and the property has several welcoming public areas.
There were some minor mechanical noises and every once in a while we heard a train, but if I had a pair of earplugs I wouldn’t have noticed anything.
This place is adorable. It feels like your own little private oasis. There is a free parking lot, luxurious in-room amenities, private patio with ocean views, breakfast, and even the grounds were stunning and beautifully designed. 5 stars!

Clean and a very nice place
Good location, free parking, nice suite room. The staff checking in and dealing with needs very helpful, friendly and accommodating.
TV in room not working - bad remotes and frames around tv prevented function. Moved to new room with no seating then back to original room. No phones in rooms, skimpy continental breakfast, office closed at night but security person there.

Bathroom lighting is very dim, not conducive to putting on makeup, etc.

Loved the decor and facilities overall. The record player in the room was an amazing touch, and the coffee was delicious. We also had a margarita and it was great. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
