This place was amazing and well worth the getaway it was so close to everything. The staff was so friendly and helpful with anything needed. The valet team is the best especially Ricky who always went above and beyond to make sure we had the car in a timely manner or helping with my bags. He is a great asset to that team
Location, cleanliness, kind front desk. Genuinely pet-friendly!
The bathroom door slammed shut - one of the guests hurt her thumb, then spilled her coffee
Perfect Spot for Our 14th Anniversary
The Chattanoogan Hotel is by far one of our top staycation picks in Chattanooga, and it didn't disappoint for our 14th wedding anniversary. Our room was a great size and incredibly comfortable — exactly what you want for a relaxing getaway.
We spent two evenings at the High Rail Bar, where the lemon drops quickly became our favorite. The next morning, my wife grabbed a Starbucks coffee and a light breakfast downstairs before we headed back to the room to relax until checkout.
The staff throughout our stay were amazing — attentive and friendly at every turn. We'll definitely be back for our next celebration!
The front desk was nice
There were teenage girls screaming and squealing until after midnight. Then they were back at it around 7:30 am.
Paid for the stay and then have to pay for parking- greedy.
Convenience, good location, overall clean
Food was a little pricey
Peyton did a great job took my bags to the garage for me
The Roof Top restaurant, the parking guys, and employees were very nice.
I did not like that I could not connect to the FREE WiFi that was not free. Then we could not use our phones or laptops in the room. We had to leave to be able to get emails.
Why do you say you have a pool on website but there is no pool.
房間舒適、位置很好、公共區有微波爐
Rooms are too dark Not enough lighting very irritating
No coffee bar
had to drink starburnt
Valet app confusing
Ian at valet was cute and friendly. He was a hustler and he loved that I know MegaTron
Honestly, not much.
I stayed from Monday, May 25, 2026, to Wednesday, May 27, 2026, and my experience was highly unsatisfactory. (In my opinion:The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures that are located on booking. Com) Initially, the housekeeping staff did not thoroughly clean the room. After reporting this issue to the front office, a staff member named James explained that the level of cleaning depended on whether a deep clean or a regular clean was performed. This indicated that the sink, which remained dirty from the morning, was not to be cleaned during the regular service.
Additionally, between approximately 1:30 am and 3:30pm. each night, I experienced someone attempting to enter my room by twisting the door knob. On the first night, May 25, 2026, I attempted to report this incident to the front desk; however, management was unavailable, and my concern was not relayed to security or management.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, I was able to speak with James, to whom I reported both incidents. He explained that the night manager was on lunch and would return by 11:30pm I informed him that we were exhausted and had been out all day, requesting that the manager call me before 11:30am Unfortunately, this call was never received. Around 1:30 a.m., the issue recurred. I contacted Cain, the front desk manager, who stated that James had only left a note instructing him to call me. I reiterated my concerns regarding housekeeping and was told he would contact housekeeping to clarify their responsibilities.
Furthermore, I expressed concern about someone continuously attempting to tamper with my door knob each night. My 14-year-old daughter was also present in the room. Cain suggested that I use earplugs, to which I responded that if I had already informed staff about someone trying to force entry, earplugs would not address the safety issue.
Throughout my stay, I felt there was a lack of urgency and professionalism. I experienced significant sleep deprivation due to these disturbances.
My children and grandchildren live in Atlanta and Nashville, so I thought it would be an ideal getaway for us all to meet midway in Chattanooga. The Chattanoogan Hotel is beautiful, convenient, and the stay was outstanding. Bedding was luxurious, and the pillows (important to me) allowed for a most comfortable rest. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, and I stop here every time I travel to Nashville for a visit, just to stretch my legs and grab a cup of coffee in the lobby Starbucks. I highly recommend The Chattanoogan!
Beautiful place! Warm and inviting rooms.
