Nice hotel, check your fridge though!
Pros:

Beautiful property. Location was great.

Cons:

The fridge was off and unplugged and we did not realize it until we got back from our concert and our leftovers from dinner were smelling.

Great place to spend an evening in Detroit.

Overall it was a nice stay
Pros:

The stay was comfortable. The staff helpful and followed through with requests. The maintenance engineer was great with last minute and unexpected repairs!

Cons:

No free breakfast. Didn't like the see-thru glass sliding door to the bathroom.

Poor service and overall negative experience—I would not recommend staying here.
Pros:

The waitress and cook who served us were very polite, professional, and provided great service.

Cons:

The rest of the staff was unwelcoming and acted as if they hated their jobs. Additionally, the overall atmosphere and views were very disappointing.

Pleasant staff, horrible mattress
Pros:

The staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Everyone I encountered was very professional.

Cons:

The air conditioner was very loud. We had to turn it on low to sleep, which made us hot. The bed was also very uncomfortable, the mattress was very bad, and should be replaced. I was up all night trying to get comfortable, and my sciatica was re-triggered from the horrible mattress. For the price of this hotel, the mattress and air conditioner should be better.
