Tutto
The staff were exceptionally and the little extras like the cheese and crackers in the evening and the menu with the breakfast including the daily weather forecast. The flowers were in abundance and the room had beautiful calm music playing on arrival adding to the ambience.
Nothing
Schönes kleines Boutique Hotel in Innenstadtnähe mit sehr aufmerksamen Personal. Tolles Frühstück. Sehr zu empfehlen.
Gar nichts
Amazing breakfast. Really enjoyed the options available. The quality & service was outstanding. Most delicious & fresh bakery & entree items.
Cannot think of any way to have been better!
There’s no question that the staff at Abigail’s really care about the customer experience. Everyone from the hotel and restaurant was outstanding in their roles. A special thanks to Yousef and Janeth for outstanding service!
We loved our second floor end room but would recommend the third floor if you are a light sleeper with neighbors above you.
The linens, bed, bathroom, and decor were all sparklingly clean.
Fabulous full breakfast with many options including gluten and dairy free. Great parking setup and safe neighborhood easy walking distance to all the action.
The staff were over the top, with service, tourist suggestions. The breakfasts were so amazing and delicious and generous! Every morning, they served up something different!
This property is lovely and has everything you’d need for a nice stay. Its location is great. Close to downtown but not too close. Afternoon snacks, evening drinks in the library, fantastic breakfasts.
It’s short on parking spots for the rooms but the street parking is easy and close. My only comment for a preference is that I find the pillow top beds lovely at first but sleeping on them is hard on my back. So if firmer beds are an option (I didn’t ask to find out), I would definitely arrange for that on our next stay.
Just went over latest reviews for this hotel. First of all , big chunk of them - ONE TIMERS . Should I explain what it means?
I’m a very experienced traveler and stayed in many hotels.
About “ Abigaill’s Hotel”. Very briefly.
Location- great.
Our room for $550 was pretty basic, without side tables. No TV ( small computer screen in the corner), no safe, no fridge.
The bed is so uncomfortable, that you need to use a stool to claim on it( very inconvenient especially during night time).
The bathroom: the actual toilet is old style very low profile, not comfortable at all.
Jet bathtub and shower combo - not practical and not safe for elders.
The old building has no elevator and to bring our luggage was a real challenge with two guys at front desk looking how you suffer with no intention to help.
Breakfast is very average with nothing special.
Our room was OR ( Orchids Room).
How this hotel could be #1 in the country and #7 in the world? Did anybody traveled and stayed anywhere else?
No recommendations from us.
Abigail’s is the most amazing hotel! The staff is wonderful and will do everything to make your stay so enjoyable. The beds, the ambiance, the breakfasts, the beautiful setting with trees and flowers… so peaceful, inviting and quaint…my favorite in Victoria. This was my fifth visit and it is always so special!
Options were varied, the food was delicious and the service was prompt and excellent. Such friendly staff!

We were a group of nine septuagenarians and octogenarians celebrating 50 years of friendship and reading. We were treated as honoured guests and all our requests were handled happily and efficiently.
Very friendly, accommodating and helpful staff.
Large room in quiet location
Breakfast options carefully made, but limited. Very very limited if you have special needs (e.g. Vegetarian).
Arrival by car can be confusing, not clear where to park during check-in
