Cons:

A bit of a rigmarole getting to the room. In one lift, along a corridor then in another lift. After 3 days I still struggled to find my way to our room.

Fabulous location, food, and service in South Beach!
Pros:

Location was perfect on Ocean Drive and next to the beach. They had a fabulous restaurant with excellent food. The service was amazing - everybody so helpful, nice and welcoming. Live music, water and coffee to drink each day, a bar with great drinks. Nice patio outside.

Cons:

The rooms were pretty good for the price. Little age in the room and furnishings, but overall very nice and comfortable and spacious.

Pros:

If you're tired of faceless chain hotels and want to truly experience the American vibe of Miami Beach, this is the perfect choice.

First of all, it's intimate and full of soul. What makes it special is that it's family-owned – you can actually meet the owner at the lobby bar every single day, and he personally makes sure the atmosphere is just right. But the real star of the hotel is his Golden Retriever, Betty – she's absolutely wonderful, so affectionate and sweet, and she instantly makes you feel at home.

Don't expect any over-the-top luxury suites here – the rooms are simple and modest, but that's exactly the charm of the place. The real highlights are the unbeatable location (right on Ocean Drive, first line from the beach) and the incredible energy of the neighborhood. There are amazingly delicious restaurants right in front of the beach, and the staff couldn't be more responsive and helpful.

A huge thank you to the team for their attentiveness and care. Whenever we had any small issues or something wasn't quite right, they jumped in immediately and fixed everything without a hitch.

Highly recommended for anyone who wants to fall in love with the real Miami!

Cons:

taxis drop you off about 50–100 m away because of the pedestrian zone, so be ready to walk with your bags.

Stunning hotel with an old world feel about it, if you are in South Beach go to the Betsy!
Pros:

This hotel was a real surprise, old world Miami vibes about it, amazing service through the bar, pool and restaurant and the location is as good as you will ever get. I was there during the world cup and it was full of fellow Scotland fans, which made the stay even more special. It is a small pool on the roof, but the service up there is amazing and there were always beds when I went up, they come out with free fruit and snacks all day by the pool.
Stunning hotel, if I was in South Beach again, 100% I would be staying at the Betsy
