It has been an absolutely pleasure staying at the Betsy. The staff is amazing from when I got there to when I left! Roof top pool and the bar staff (Carmen,gustavo and digna) 100% would recommend and will be staying here again!
Genevieve, Juan and Rene and Barbara are fabulous employees. Each one of them went the extra mile to take care of us. We will be returning in a few months!
Our stay at the Betsy was phenomenal. The people were amazing and the hotel itself was beautiful. George at the check in desk was tons of help and extremely nice and friendly and our waiter Oscar was very helpful. He gave us a lot of recommendations for places to eat and bars to get a few drinks and everywhere he said to go was great. Josh at the bar was also amazing, he was super friendly and made some delicious drinks. All around 10/10 experience. It’s a very memorable place with wonderful people.
This place saved the date after we were unhappy with another restaurant. They had an amazing charcuterie board and they had amazing pizza. The staff were so kind and generous, and gave is great recommendations! Couldn’t have asked for better!
This is one of the best independent hotels we’ve had the pleasure to stay at. Ideally placed on South Beach, this is a fantastic boutique hotel. The food is superb, the staff amazing, especially our favourite Genevieve!! The rooms are stylish and the artwork second to none. We even got to meet Betsy herself! We would highly recommend you try the Betsy, it truly is a gem!!

I recently stayed at The Betsy in South Beach, and it was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Miami.
The location is unbeatable… right on Ocean Drive and just steps from the beach. Despite being in the heart of South Beach, the rooms were surprisingly quiet, exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained.
What really sets The Betsy apart is the service. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with a glass of champagne, and my dog was greeted with treats, which immediately made us both feel at home. George at the front desk was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Darwin at the rooftop pool provided outstanding service and kept the drinks flowing with a smile. There was also another gentleman working the pool on Saturday who was fantastic, and I only wish I had gotten his name so I could recognize him as well.
The rooftop pool is absolutely wonderful and offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy the South Beach atmosphere. The entire property has a classy, old-school Miami elegance that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a different world.
I’ve stayed at many hotels in Miami over the years, and The Betsy is, by far, my favorite. Everything from the atmosphere and location to the comfort and service, was exceptional. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to Miami.

Perfect location, helpful staff, comfortable bed.
Everyone at the Betsy was very friendly and professional especially Juan who greeted us when we arrived. He took care of our luggage until our rooms were ready! . He always greeted us with a smile and asked if there was anything he could assist us with! Thank you Juan for going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable!
The Betsy Hotel is wonderful, it’s not solely a hotel it’s an experience, an indulgence.
The art work and the opportunity to hear great music is great. There are programs organized, talks and presentations.

Terrific stay at the Betsy! Easily the best hotel in Miami. I love a boutique hotel, but so often you lose that sense of luxury. Not here. The service is outstanding. Fritzner was incredibly accommodating when I needed a last minute extra room. I’m also blown away at how patient the front desk is! I heard another guest in front of me trying to get worked up over some thing or another, and George calmed her and reassured her at every breath. She even gave him a high-five when she left! The one note I have is that it took a while to get access to a receptionist & valet. I wish they had more people at those locations, there was always a wait.
Lastly Ray in the restaurant was wonderful. So interesting, so cultured and professional. Easily one of the best waiters we have. I love that the hotel displays all these artists, including a member of their own wait staff. There is so much to see in this hotel. You could spend a week here and not see every corner and amenity it has to offer.
In terms of comfort, it’s delicious. We even ordered the pillows they have when we got home. It is a little noisy, it is Collins after all, but more of a street hum than party noises. Can’t wait to come back!
My husband and I got stuck in Miami for a night while in transit to the West Coast. What started out as an inconvenience because of a flight cancellation turned into a wonderful sojourn at this excellent family owned hotel. The art, design and friendly staff made our stay wonderful. A special thanks to George at the front desk and Genevieve in the bar restaurant. And the sweet lady up by the rooftop pool. We’ll definitely come back.
I stayed at The Betsy during my first time to Miami on a girls trip and it was incredible. The entire staff was unbelievably nice and helpful. It’s about a 40 minute trip from the Fort Lauderdale airport to The Betsy but we no issues at all. Checking in and out was a quick and simple. The room was beautiful, with everything we needed including the most comfortable beds! The atmosphere at this hotel is elegant and classy. Food is amazing there and my favorite was the rooftop pool with the best bar and wait staff. In fact, everyone that works at the Betsy could not be nicer! I loved the live music in the lobby almost every day and night also. I had the best time with my friends and would 100% recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Miami and are looking for an experience to make you feel special and pampered.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay—especially Juan, who went above and beyond. I also took the morning yoga class overlooking the ocean, which was such a beautiful experience, and the hotel provided the mats. The property itself is stunning, very aesthetic, and always had great music playing. Our entire group was impressed by how friendly and accommodating everyone was. The location was also a 10/10—perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommend!
