Pretty good overall, but expensive parking
Pros:

The staff was excellent & accommodating. The food and drinks were good. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The building is dated and the bathtub was cracked and needed several repairs. And what was one of the reasons I probably won’t go back is because parking is $62.50 a night. To me that is very unreasonable.. they tell you to find a meter on the street but we looked for one and they were few.

Pros:

The front desk people were always friendly and helpful. Our room and bath were so pretty and comfortable.The breakfast was amazing! Edwar was charming! We appreciated the waters and we had everything we could have needed. Location was very good for walking around. Loved it!

Pros:

Ashton Hotel has beautiful, large rooms with an ensuite and the hotel is j.a prime position for restaurants and diners.

Cons:

Overall, my stay was a bit underwhelming. I did have an issue with my first room, but I appreciate that the staff quickly moved me to another room without any hassle. The customer service was friendly and accommodating.
That said, the property itself could use some TLC. The hotel feels dated in places, and a few maintenance and cosmetic updates would go a long way toward improving the guest experience. While it met my basic needs, it wasn't quite what I was expecting.

Pros:

Loved the history and appreciated how comfy bed was! We were late for happy hour, but still enjoyed 2 complimentary glasses of wine!

Cons:

Only slightly negative was the $68.00 charge for valet parking for one night. We didn’t find any other parking options.

The location was fantastic.

Cons:

The room was dark and had few lamps, the pipes were very noisy when anyone around is showered. There was barely any furniture with surfaces to set things on. The bedside table was tiny. I had to put the phone in the floor in order to set up my cpap. And lastly, the room was hot and stuffy, but the hallways were freezing. The AC would not go below 75.

Good location but not the 4 star experience we were advertised.

The location was good. The staff was kind and helpful.

Cons:

We received an upgrade to a suite. This was old with outdated facilities and amenities. The tub / shower were leaky. Ceiling boards were falling down and scattering debris on the bathroom floors. Dark old carpet and old furniture in rooms.

Kevin the valet and Valerie the desk clerk were friendly and helpful for all of our needs. The air conditioning in summertime Fort Worth was excellent.
