Nice and relaxing
Pros:

Breakfast was pretty good. A nice variety of things. I really enjoyed it. The area surrounding the hotel is really nice. Alexandria has alot of shops, restaurants and bars around so you always have something to do. Take a nice walk to see the Harbour.

Cons:

Homeless people around, but they don't really bother you.

Checked into a room that was not cleaned. Unmade beds and dirty.
2nd room had a disgusting rusty bathtub.

Staff was wonderful. Very accommodating. Great location with free trolley and bus outside.
Pros:

Breakfast was good. Parking in garage was reasonably priced.

Cons:

Mattress was too high. I’m only 5’. Difficulty getting into tub. Bottom of tub too narrow to stand in.

Great stay
Pros:

Very friendly staff, room was clean and hotel is at a walking distance to the water and all main shops And eateries. If you don’t feel like walking there is a free trolley that picks you up at the front door.

Amazing staff, clean/updated rooms, incredible location, great breakfast- awesome bang for your buck!
Pros:

Absolutely LOVED our stay! Betty welcomed us like we were family, and my boys felt so special when she gave them a little welcome bag of candy & water. Excellent location! Short walk to metro and everything you could possibly need on King Street. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were super clean & updated, and beds and pillows were a dream! Every single staff member was absolutely amazing. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

Great hotel!
Pros:

Excellent customer service! The hotel was clean and easy access to walking down King St. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Free ice cold water bottles in the lobby were a bonus! The pool is out of order, but we knew that going in so it didn't bother us. Parking in the parking deck takes some patience. It is small with narrow turns, but if you take it slow you will be fine. We didn't have a problem parking a minivan in the deck. The bottom floor of the deck has a couple of larger spaces if that is what you need.
All in all it was a great stay and we will definitely be back!

Great Stay!
Pros:

Great stay! Excellent location just about 5 minute walk to Metro! Breakfast as expected for a Hampton! Our room was clean although a bit smaller than other King rooms we’ve stayed in at other properties. Betty and Janet at the front desk were very pleasant and friendly! Parking was tight but manageable—we parked car for the week and easily navigated anywhere we wanted to visit with metro and bus! ( DC traffic is really crazy and we were happy to leave to local “professionals”..lol! ) Only small complaint about property is the bed wasn’t the most comfortable! Very happy with our stay!
