Everyone was super friendly! Valet was fast and efficient

Outstanding assistance and service while maintaining the safety of our vehicle during our stay at The Renaissance By Marriott New Orleans Pere Marquette French Quarter Area Hotel. There was never no delay in requesting our vehicle when it was needed; while the Attendants provided Excellent and Exceptional service. Everyone was totally professional at all times and courteous.

Our family reunion was held here and we all want to say that the valet team was awesome. They were very polite and professional. It was service with a smile. They are an example of how to do a job right! Much thanks to the valet team and God bless them all.

Meh. If you reserve with the mindset that you are basically staying at a low-end Courtyard or Fairfield, you will be fine. Nice lobby, but that's about it. Rooms are very basic, and surprisingly small. Website notes 350 Square Feet, but it's not true. I've stayed at a lot of hotels, and this feels like a small hotel room in NYC, 200-225 square feet at most. And if you have Elite Status (I'm Platinum), don't bother. They really offer nothing. Here's a picture of their so-called VIP Room. It's very sad. I actually feel sorry for the room :). So many other options for a future New Orleans stay!!! No need to return.

The location was great and the cleaning , room service and bar staff were great!

Stayed here for a conference and some fun afterward. The hotel is not far off Canal St. and close to the French Quarter.

Our stay was wonderful. The room was adequate for what we needed. The staff made our stay a 5. They offered us ponchos when it rained. They gave us bottles of water and offered an aperol spritz. They couldn't have been more accommodating for anything we needed.

Definitely a great choice.

Hotel was clean, staff were friendly, valet (Dave) was prompt and never had me waiting for my car. I will be back.

This hotel is always my favorite go to when I’m in town. It’s literally close to everything and very accommodating. Also, our valet Dave was very friendly and helpful. He gave us suggestions and helped us with any questions we had. I will say that with Dave being our first interaction that really set the tone for everyone we came in contact with after him.

Always enjoy staying at the Renaissance!

Clean, friendly hotel staff, great valet service! Historic charm with modern amenities. The Tackle Box Restaurant, inside the hotel, has a nice menu with brunch choice late into the day. Convenient location in the heart of the French quarter.

In town for a wedding at church around the corner so location was convenient. Hotel was fine, staff helpful and friendly. Room was clean but somewhat worn. Bathroom clean. AC worked pretty well but sort of loud. Good if you like white noise while sleeping.

It started when I pulled up in the parking garage. Typically, this us just a needed transactional event. Jermaine greeted me with such a pleasant demeanor! Found out that I was from LA, but moved about 10 years ago, and welcomed me home! He answered my questions with a smile and directed me to a shortcut to the hotel. I left my cell phone in my car, but didn’t realize until I was in the hotel. I went back to the parking garage and he said…Forgot your phone? I saw it in the car. Let me run and get it for you right away!” Wow! That was different. I visited with my friends then it was time to leave. He remembered me when I walked up (after several hours) and jumped to get my car. What a happy and kind young man. Unexpected. Y’all have a winner of an employee!

The parking lot attendants were amazing. North and Dave gave us top notch service.

Location was convent. Valet staff made us feel like family. Room was clean and check in/out experience was pleasant and smooth.

I would like to say my overall stay was amazing for the simple fact that valet service was great. Soon as I arrived to the hotel I was greeted by this gentleman name Jermaine and he took great care of me and my family the entire time . 10/10 recommendation.

Dave was awesome!! Super friendly and a great sense of urgency.
