Easy and great location! Jireh did a fabulous job of helping me get everything organized out of my car and set up for my Uber ride with ease totally recommended
We went to NOLA to celebrate a friend's birthday. They stayed in the French Quarter, but we wanted to stay close but outside to avoid late night noise. The Renaissance Pere Marquette was a great choice being just a block off Canal and 3 small blocks away from their's. Great room with good beds, cold AC, and hot showers! What else do you need? The lobby bar was friendly (as were everyone on staff) making some eye opening drinks. Bottom line, yes we will stay there again on our next foray to the Cresent City.
Close to attractions
Very small room but very nice
Nice waitress at tacklebox
Everyone there was so kind and helped us from luggage to parking the car to the valet… Excellent!!!
Spent 3 days with family and had a wonderful time! Everyone was helpful and professional! Shout out to Cardell and Dylan from valet parking!!
I booked on booking.com and the lady at the front desk claim she couldn't pull up my comfmation so I ended looking my money that I booked on booking.com and still had to pay 189.00 for another room
The room was clean and comfortable. It was a nice size. The washroom was also clean and had lots of towels, soap, etc. The location was good as it was a block from Canal Street. The staff were friendly.
The restaurant food was just okay, not amazing. The bar area that is not part of the restaurant was closed, which is unfortunate as it had comfy seating there. We chose the wrong time of year to travel to New Orleans as we were not interested in the insanity of Mardi Gras. So the hotel like everywhere else was noisy in the middle of the night as guests came back to their rooms. Not the hotel's fault, but something to be aware of when choosing to travel to NOLA.
The staff at the hotel are wonderful, and the location is decent. BUT, our room was horribly shabby. I can handle old or outdated items, but the furniture, walls, fixtures, etc. were scratched, worn, and generally grungy. If you are a Marriott member, you may want to look elsewhere for your points.
Staff was friendly
Room 901 was terrible. The elevators were right on the other side of the bed so it sounded like a train all night.
