Questionable Employee, Refused Accountability for Error
Pros:

The General Manager made it a top priority to correct the error of the front desk personnel

Cons:

The employee that checked me in wrote the incorrect room number on the room card she gave to me. After multiple attempts at opening the door, I went back downstairs to get the issue corrected. The General Manager realized the employee wrote the room number incorrectly and explained it to the employee.

The employee never acknowledged or apologized for her error.

Great hotel for all travelers
Pros:

An A+ hotel! Staff are exceptionally kind and knowledgeable, hotel is clean and rooms are just the right size. Food is delish.

Hotel is well positioned in the city with easy access to metro and within walking of monuments.

Highly recommend for all travelers.

A great experience!
Pros:

We loved our stay at the Ven! The location is perfect… DuPont circle is an easy neighborhood to walk around with plenty of nice restaurants and sweet shops. The metro is very close by and made a quick trip to the National Mall. The hotel staff is fantastic. They made us feel welcomed and special. The room was so comfortable, and the valet returned our EV fully charged at no additional expense. The manager Brooke is friendly and very helpful, and also the assistants Mr. Fassel and Mr. Hoque. We will certainly be back when we come to DC again.

Perfect location for business or pleasure!
Pros:

Very nice hotel centrally located, super close to DuPont metro. Running trails in Rock Creek Park just steps away. Super helpful hotel staff and clean well-kept rooms.

Great property with terrific staff
Pros:

I’ve stayed at many properties in my 40+ years as an adult. I’ve been to some very luxurious properties and of course I’ve been to disappointing properties. This property is top-notch from top to bottom. In particular, I was impressed by the staff. Chris at the restaurant and Eli at the front desk were so accommodating and friendly! The organization I belong to is very close by and brings me to DC a couple of times a year, so I will be back with my wife for the next stay. .

The whole team were absolutely amazing! Negash was always there to help assist with the baggage for arrivals and Imane, you were the best! I could not ask for a better say and we will be back again! Thank you all for the best week

Nothing beats out of the ordinary customer service!
Pros:

I have stayed here before and always enjoyed my experience. However, I experienced exceptional customer service this evening by one of your front desk colleagues, Eli, and I must comment on it. I went downstairs looking for a bag of chips or a snack and couldn’t find anything to eat since most of the items contained nuts. Not only did Eli go in the back to confirm there wasn’t an extra bag of chips somewhere, he made sure I found something that I could eat. His professionalism, kindness and superiors customer service moved me and reaffirmed my initial impression that this is a great place to stay!

It was an average hotel stay not like we expected in DC
Pros:

Location is beautiful

Cons:

No microwave or iron box in the room. These things are very important for stay in a hotel. The booking.com did not inform the staff properly about the requirements. The site showed breakfast included, I believe every customer likes breakfast, if it is available on the hotel site as an amenity, you don't have to request it. As the staff informed, there is no breakfast available, so we had to get breakfast from outside 2 days, and got it corrected by one staff and got it rest of the days.
