The room is clean and spacious enough for 2 pieces of luggage. Beds are comfortable and housekeeping is great. Buffet breakfast is acceptable. Location is very near the metro station.
Nothing much other than the lifts were not working on the day of check out. The staff was nice to let us leave our luggage in the room and they brought them down for us.
Staff was very welcoming, especially Veronica, Zaylee and Xiao Song🤍

We had a wonderful stay at China Mayors Plaza and were very impressed with both the hotel and its staff.
The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, and we had a spectacular view from our room. We also really enjoyed the breakfast — everything was fresh and delicious.
I would especially like to express my sincere gratitude to Amy at the reception. During our stay, we unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with a taxi driver who charged us 309 CNY for a taxi ride that was only one stop. Amy immediately took the situation seriously and contacted the police on our behalf.
What impressed us most was that she did much more than we could have expected. She personally accompanied us to the police station, communicated with the police, and helped explain the situation. Thanks to her assistance, the police were able to identify the taxi driver.
We are also very grateful to the hotel management for supporting Amy in helping us during her working hours and for arranging the hotel shuttle to take us to the police station. We truly appreciated this level of care and support.
Overall, we had a very positive experience with the hotel and its staff. Everyone we encountered was professional, kind, and helpful. A special thank you to Amy — her kindness and willingness to help turned a very stressful situation into one that was much easier for us to handle.
We would happily stay at China Mayors Plaza again and would definitely recommend it to other travelers.
Had a really pleasant stay here! The staff were absolutely wonderful, super helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the location is very convenient, with the metro within walking distance
The breakfast also had a decent selection with enough variety to start the day.
Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Guangzhou!
Aircon in lobby too warm
The location is great, and the staff are excellent; Sam Woo is a very attentive employee. The rooms on the 5th floor have been renovated; they are clean and comfortable.
The only downside is that the elevators are shared with the plaza on the upper floors. I’d give it an 8.5 out of 10.
