We had a really lovely stay at Mercure Amsterdam City Hotel. Our twin room was very comfortable and perfect for relaxing after exploring the city. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice, and everything was fresh and well presented.

What really stood out was how helpful and friendly the staff were throughout our stay. They even allowed us to store our luggage after check out until we were ready to head home, which made our final day in Amsterdam so much easier.

The only downside was that our room was not cleaned during our stay, which was a little disappointing. However, overall we still had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

Perfect stay
Pros:

Perfect stay at this hotel for my 40th birthday weekend. We stayed for two nights in this amazing hotel. Location is incredible, literally 5 minute walk from a train station which we used to commute to both airport and Amsterdam Central.

Staff had balloons and a gift waiting for out arrival and it really just set the bar for the beginning of our stay.

Can't wait to return with our kids some day.

Reasonably good location
Pros:

The hotel is reasonably well located 10-15 minutes walk to 2 metro stations that provide access to the city centre.

My room was smallish but modern and clean. Staff were courteous and breakfast was quite good.

While I would prefer to be a little closer to the city centre, it only took a little effort and time to travel.

We had a very nice stay!
Pros:

Our stay at the hotel was amazing. The staff was very kind and helped us. The location is very nice, only a 10 minute walk to the metro station and only a few stops from the Johan Cruiff Arena.
The room had lots of space, the shower was very nice.
I would recommend this hotel to friends!
