Our first visit to Althoff Seehotel Uberfahrt and it was amazing! Staff members were friendly and engaging and very tolerant of us English only speakers. The food was delicious at the two restaurants we dined at with an atmosphere that enhanced our meals. Who does not enjoy a dreamy lake view in between bites and courses? The gorgeous weather we experienced allowed us to hike along the river through the nature preserve and cycle through forests and neighborhoods. Such a peaceful and idyllic setting for families as well as couples to enjoy. In our spacious and upgraded room, we felt like pampered guests. With comfortable and beautiful furnishings, a deck and a luxe bathroom, we hated to say goodbye. And what ease checking in and out was, a true pleasure. Thank you again dear wait staff for your smiles. Beatrice we will remember our sharing conversations. May time allow us to return!A

Spark und Außenpool konnten wegen Renovierung nicht genutzt werden. Als Ausgleich schenkte das Hotel den Gästen die Halbpension, aber nur bei Direktbuchung, nicht bei Buchung über Booking.com!

Hotel is 5 sterren waardig. Locatie is geweldig, kwaliteit van alles tot in details uitstekend. Kamers zeer aangenaam en modern, personeel uitmunted, restaurant aanbevelenswaardig met mooie gerechten. Ontbijt fenomenaal, dit hotel is in één woord subliem.

The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The room was luxurious, spacious, spotless, and extremely comfortable, making for a very enjoyable stay.
One issue that disappointed me was the parking charge. We were six motorcycle riders who parked in the hotel parking area and checked out separately. I later discovered that I was the only one charged €25 for parking, even though parking was supposed to be included free of charge. I believe this may have been an oversight and would appreciate clarification from the hotel.
