I liked the value.
The location was sketchy with many homeless people by the hotel.
Great. Ambience was just right
Excellent breakfast.....great variety of choices!!
This hotel was clean, the staff were nice, and the overall feel of the hotel was modern. There were plenty of amenities around the hotel, such as the amazing number of USB ports and outlets in the room. The breakfast was amazing too.
Not much. Nice gym.
The city, the smell, the area.
The breakfast was excellent

Really recommend this stay. Hotel is beautiful and very close to all the good spots. Our room was much bigger than expected which was great. A few reviews complain about bathroom size but we didn’t think it was bad at all, you need to step out of the way to close the door but the bathroom itself is not small and the shower is a large shower. Bed was comfy and television had good options.
Hotel was so close to Bourbon, it was about a five/ten minute walk and there is also the Streecars close by if you don’t feel like walking. They were $3 per adult for 24hr access and they were quick and easy to use.
Hotel was secure and the doors locked after 9pm, requiring a keycard to open past this time. We felt very safe and comfortable here.
A few reviews also complain about parking, which we didn’t find to be a huge deal. You can check in and drop off bags and park afterwards, however we parked in the parking garage behind and took elevator down and turned around the corner to the hotel, less than a 2 min walk from our car to the hotel doors. It cost $25 a night which all things considered is very good value for a city. A lot of hotels we walked past didn’t have parking at all nearby, or only had valet.
Overall a great stay and would definitely return. Great value for money and very comfortable.
O café da manhã não é ruim, porém não tem frutas e pães frescos, tudo é industrializado.
The location was great the staff was pleasant.
Nothing
Super Lage.
The room was nice, great location to bourbon and Superdome Theatre.
There housekeeping was low staff so it took a minute for some towels

I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Canal Street.
My husband and I had a reservation booked through Booking.com as part of a cross-country trip to visit family, including my husband’s elderly grandmother. We had ten hotel stays planned across the country. Unfortunately, our plans were abruptly canceled due to a severe family medical emergency—my husband’s father was in a serious car accident and is now on a ventilator. My husband is his medical proxy and cannot leave town under these circumstances.
We requested a cancellation and refund approximately three weeks in advance of our stay. Booking.com confirmed they were willing to issue a full refund with no penalty, but the hotel refused to authorize it, preventing the refund from being processed. Despite Booking.com’s approval and even corporate-level acknowledgment that an exception could be made, this specific property still refused to release the funds.
What makes this especially frustrating is that every other hotel on our itinerary—many also booked as non-refundable—showed compassion and refunded us due to the medical emergency. Even another Hampton Inn & Suites location honored the situation without issue.
This property showed no empathy or willingness to work with us during a genuine family crisis. Instead, they prioritized retaining payment over basic compassion, adding unnecessary financial and emotional stress during an already devastating time.
I would not recommend this location based on how we were treated during a verified medical emergency.
