The fire alarm went off in the very early hours of the morning (more than once.) A written apology was left outside room doors, but I felt a little more could have been offered by way of apology/compensation. Other than this, the hotel was great and we would return.
Il Crowne Plaza è una bella struttura moderna, dotata di un ampio e comodo parcheggio. La posizione è piuttosto lontana dal centro, quindi per spostarsi è praticamente necessario utilizzare l’auto oppure un taxi.
La nostra camera era molto ampia, ben insonorizzata e con un letto particolarmente comodo. Unico neo il condizionatore, decisamente rumoroso. Inoltre, alle 14:30 la camera non era ancora stata rifatta, cosa che ci ha un po’ sorpreso per un hotel di questo livello.
Una nota decisamente positiva va alla colazione, ricca, completa e ben organizzata a buffet: senza dubbio la migliore che abbiamo trovato durante tutto il nostro viaggio. Personale sempre gentile e disponibile.
Meno convincente, invece, il ristorante. Più che un vero ristorante, l’ambiente ricorda un bar-ristorante con molti divani, piuttosto informale e, durante la nostra cena, anche abbastanza rumoroso per la presenza di bambini. Peccato, perché in una struttura di questo livello un po’ più di eleganza e atmosfera non guasterebbero.
Anche la cucina, pur essendo discreta, non ci è sembrata particolarmente raffinata né all’altezza del resto dell’hotel.
Nel complesso, comunque, un buon soggiorno, soprattutto per la qualità della camera, la comodità del parcheggio, la gentilezza del personale e l’eccellente colazione.
