Great hotel. Well located. The breakfast you order was lovely
Rooms were a little small. It’s a quality hotel but definitely not cheap. I was working out in the gym making sure to be quiet as it was attached to peoples bedrooms - this is really poor design. I would be extremely unhappy if I got a bedroom attached to a gym

Location was excellent. We didn’t have breakfast as so many cafes within 2 minutes walking from the hotel.

Everything was good
An excellent location in a quiet and pretty square, which we particularly appreciated since we didn't know when we booked that we would be there the weekend that the Pope was visiting Madrid! We were fortunate to have a room overlooking the square, but were never bothered by the noise of late drinkers at local bars or the church bells, because the double glazing was excellent. We were grateful for being able to control the heat/air conditioning in the room and similarly, enjoyed the coffee/tea making facilities. Both the breakfast room and the bar/lounge area were very pleasant areas and all staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were varied, regularly replenished and the eggs-to-order system was well organised. The general chaos of getting a taxi on the day of the Pope's procession through the closed streets of Madrid was alleviated by sympathetic and helpful reception staff and for that we were particularly grateful.
We found prices much higher than in our usual 4 star hotels. We hope that was simply because of the Pope's visit, because it would be a factor to consider for our next visit to Madrid.
