Great location..
Very dowdy rooms, outdated .Feel not perfectly clean either.The "free mini bar " concept isn't worth attention..
The room was plush and decadent and it couldn’t be closer to the train and main drag of Glasgow.

I didn’t get the room I expected.. payd more for my room than my friends because I wanted a bigger room than they payd for but when we came there I noticed that I got the smallest room of them all. I talked to the reception but they said I had the biggest room which was not right. You should not sell “bigger”rooms that aren’t bigger.
The hotel was a stunning surprise. Given the price, it was hugely comfortable, well-appointed, clean and modern. The bathroom was gorgeous, the bed was comfortable, and the service was exemplary. I could not say enough nice things about this hotel; it will be my hotel of choice for Glasgow going forward. (Also, the pub next door is excellent and well worth a visit for live music.)
We arrived at Glasgow Central by train, and were taking another train from Glasgow Queen St. next day. Carlton George Hotel is right next to Glasgow Queen Street station, and it was a perfect location for us. Our room was very spacious and beautifully furnished. It was a quick transit stay, but after a long train journey from the far south, and on the way to further north, we appreciated a confortable and high-quality rest.
The room door didn’t close unless pushed hard. We forgot to do this and several times, managed to set off the alarm.

I needed some instruction on the shower controls! But everything was beautiful...

The rooms are absolutely beautiful, the decoration is modern yet cozy. It's also spotless clean. Breakfast is delicious.
It was all perfect
The room was elegant and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. They offer the minibar free of charge. They happily stored our bags before we checked in and after checkout the next day.
