Great location
Stayed here many times over the years, brilliant location next to George Square, plus the legendary mini bar..
The rooms were a bit dated and a bit heavy on the tartan decor … but now.. was blown away by the makeover. They have done a superb job of updating the rooms and the bathrooms.. very impressed.

Great place to stay right in the centre of Glasgow, next to Queen St Station and lots of shops, pubs and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and rooms were large with a really comfortable bed. Bathroom was a good size with lots of mod cons and a rainfall shower. Also a complimentary minibar! Cannot fault it. Highly recommend!
The rooms were very comfortable and the complimentary mini bar was a bonus. The staff were lovely and very helpful.
We were given a free upgrade to a room at the front of the hotel, however it was so noisy in the morning when barrels were being collected at 6.30am from the pub next door. Breakfast too expensive and just average.

Perfect for Queen Street Station and the city centre. Spacious room and, despite being next door to an (excellent) Irish pub and having a room on the first floor, very quiet. Very comfortable bed and excellent, roomy, shower. Friendly helpful staff. We didn't have breakfast as we had an early train to catch, so can't comment on the food but - unexpected bonus - the minibar was free (gins, beer, wine, soft drinks)!
Nothing to dislike - we'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Glasgow.
Hotel was great , central location and very clean , staff accommodating no complaints
Only one thing to watch is the extremely loud noise from the extractor fan and generator in the central courtyard outside the room windows it made sleeping very difficult but this isn’t the hotels fault just a caution
