A great place for anyone looking for a couple of days or a longer stay with so much to offer. Laundry, store close to major routes, stores and public transportation.

The great everyday hardworking staff make it more enjoyable. Located on Overlook Blvd, the name Overlook definitely is an understatement.

The lawn maintenance is really amazing while also the water professional drainage even gives you more piece of mind on hard raining day.

I am writing to formally express my extreme disappointment regarding my stay at Simply Sonesta Suites in Nanuet, New York, from September 6 through September 14, 2026.

Unfortunately, what should have been a comfortable stay turned into a very unpleasant and unacceptable experience. I am requesting a 100% refund for my entire stay due to the serious cleanliness, maintenance, and pest infestation issues we experienced.

The most disturbing issue was a severe roach infestation. From the very first day we checked in on September 6 and throughout our stay until September 14, we encountered numerous roaches in our accommodations. This was not an isolated incident involving one or two insects. The problem continued throughout our stay and made us extremely uncomfortable.

The infestation became so concerning that my husband had to purchase extermination products and chemicals himself in an attempt to control the roaches. A paying hotel guest should never have to purchase pest-control products to make a room tolerable.

We were offered the option of moving from the first floor to a room on the second floor. We declined because, considering the extent of the infestation we were experiencing, we had no confidence that simply moving to another floor within the same building would resolve the problem.

In addition to the roach infestation, there were several other unacceptable problems:

• The toilet was not functioning properly. My husband repeatedly had to reach inside the toilet tank and manually lift the mechanism so that the toilet would flush properly.

• The television and/or remote control did not function correctly, leaving us unable to properly use and enjoy the television during our stay.

• The accommodations were not adequately clean when we arrived. I personally had to mop and disinfect the floors with Lysol because I did not feel that the room was sanitary.

The entire everyday hard working staff that makes this look easy along with the unique location, includes its quiet surroundings which make this place an amazing place to stay short and long term. Walking distance to shops and in major routes within minutes. The room layouts are incredible which also allows you to study and work a lot more efficiently and organize.

I forgot THE IN-HOUSE LAUNDRY & the STOOR along with all the great staff! Pleasure to see around!

While secluded and private, still behind a good shopping type of mall, food, target, phone repair, subway, & of COURSE BURGER KING & US MILITARY RECRUITMENT OFFICE!

Overlooked can’t say it enough. I get great sleep unlike before here. 6-7 hours which is rare for me. Great place, great staff help much of that! Thank you!

I like the hospitality of the staff

Quietness which has allowed me to get some needed rest. In house laundry, plus a very professional and respectful staff.

Consistency, no trespassing, along with friendly people. Next to bus stop, shopping center behind it just a walk away and major highways.

Unique location, their amazing room layouts which include actual refrigerator, stove top, kitchen sink area along with their entire everyday hard working staff. Moreover is the having available home goods as small kitchen oven, air fryer type of items available to use with no extra fees.
