Awesome location right in the heart of Takapuna and close to bus routes and motorway.
Pros:

Location is excellent and the staff were really friendly. I loved the Gym. The hotel decor is tired and needs an update, bathroom tiles are cracked etc.

A very restful and comfortable stay at The Spencer Hotel.
Pros:

Comfy beds, with great block out blinds. It was easy to find restaurant/food options just a short walk away and very handy to have a microwave in the room. Loved the balcony and the coffee shop next door ‘Sage and Brew’ had a delicious menu, with great coffee.

Cons:

I couldn’t adjust the aircon for our room to a temperature that I’d prefer.
