Fave Brissy Hotel
Pros:

My fave place to stay in Brisbane. Always a good view from rooms and a nice location, a short walk from Central station

Cons:

It was during Magic Week - a busy week, which meant that prices were higher than usual I think

Pros:

Room was clean.

Cons:

The reception staff (a male) was rude. there was no signage on parking area. Parking area demonstrates the company is all about the money.

Could have been better, was an ok place to just sleep for the night and that’s all
Pros:

Staff were great, handled all issues that were brought up.

Cons:

The room was outdated, stains on the carpet otherwise completely worn carpet, free wifi did not work, mouldy toaster and kettle, no room service. Basically got catfished by the commercial saying that it was a luxury hotel but ended up being put in one of the smaller rooms. First room was disgusting stains everywhere paint smell through out the room, when I got moved up a few floors I was put in a similar room which was also terrible but better than the first room. Was offered a free bottle of wine for compensation but never received that either. Ad said there would be all off these plus room service but was told at front counter that I booked an eco room which is not true as the booking didn’t state that I was being put in one of those. Allergies went off the charts as the aircon is dusty and filters have not been changed in what seems like years

Cons:

Booked a 2 bedroom room. When checking in, the second bedroom was locked and I was told “we may be able to unlock the second bedroom but if not we will put a roll out bed in the lounge area”. I expressed concerns regarding this as I had paid for a 2 bedroom room. I then left the room for the evening as I had plans for that night.

Upon returning to the room late at night, the second bedroom was unlocked, and I thank the staff for that. However, a roll out bed was also in the room. Being so late, I thought nothing of it and went to bed.

When checking out I was charged for the roll out bed and refused a refund. The hotel claimed that I requested the roll out bed.

The hotel has refused to refund me for the cost they forced me to pay.

Slow checking in and out due to computer system, ordered breakfast the next day and it was wrong after it was repeated back.
No towels for the pool, had to ask for extra.
The amount of money that was charged wasn't overly impressed with everything over all.

Convenient location to explore the city of Brisbane and nearby water front eating precinct
Pros:

clean facilities and spacious apartment. Well equipped kitchen and location to shops was excellent and convenient.

Cons:

Parking was really really tight glad we had a small car!

Pros:

Great location, outlook and prices

Cons:

Some of the sofas a bit dated and advertised as having fold out sofa beds which they did not, but staff were very helpful in getting fold away beds to the room.
